Not nearly as bad as people make it out to be

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. After reading other reviews I was a little nervous about our stay, but I think the low price was a great deal for the hotel. It's obviously a slightly older hotel, but it's clean, comfortable, and quite enjoyable. The bathroom was huge with a huge oval bathtub and lots of space for getting cleaned up. We were checked in very quickly and the staff was quite pleasant. There was only one bar in the hotel that opened before 10:30am, though, which is a bit of a pitfall for us social drinking Vegas visitors. There were also little shops set up, all-you-can-eat buffets, and an oxygen bar. But overall, especially considering the price, I will definitely be staying again.

Old and dated

For teh location price is great. The Paradise Tower is much nicier than the Island Tower.

needs better service

We paid in internet for the fifth person and they did not gave to us an extra bed, the first person at the front desk was rude, the second helped us a little better, they did not reconize that we paid extra for another person. I know that it is one of the chepaest hotel in Las vegas, but anyway be nice with the public and give whatever they offfer in internet is the minimun that we wanted

Great room for the money

Room was big and comfortable, price was decent, location is very close to all the major casino's.

Not Worth the Price

Hotel was dirty, blankets had holes, carpet all stained. Will not stay there again.

Great Location - Great Price

We have stayed at Tropicana Hotel/Casino before. As usual - very clean and well maintained. The location is great on the Las Vegas Strip. The staff is caring, professional and there for their guests. I will definitely stay there again and highly recommend to others.
