Barceló Hotel Sants

Great location

I didn't realize that the Hotel is above the train station. We were looking for a place close by, so we could take the train to the airport the next morning. This was perfect!! The room was very nice and spacious. I would stay here again.

Great convenience to metro

Hotel was very nice and large by European standards (medium by American). Full bathtub (also unusual for Europe). Hotel was right above the metro stop where most of the lines cross. This was very convenient for getting all over the city. It was a far walk to many of the tourist spots, but doable. Overall, great deal for the price.

Great Location

The location of the hotel is great. The Barcelona metro runs below the hotel. We were able to save money by taking the metro to all the main attractions of Barcelona. The hotel was friendly and helpful. The room look was outdated. If they were to remodel the rooms this hotel would be a five star hotel at a three start price.

Easy stop once arriving into Barcelona

We stayed here our first night in Barcelona. You can take the metro right to the hotel, it is above a major station (although surprisingly not noisy.) Convenient to get our feet wet in the city. Another plus was the king bed, not many in Barcelona. It was a hard bed but at least good size. Great stop!

Good Location

This hotel is literally above the main train terminal. So there were always taxi's lined up, the airport shuttle stops in front of it and the double decker tourist bus stops in front of it. And since we could not speak a word of Spanish, it was a great land mark to tell the taxi driver where to take us to. Also, the hotel staff spoke perfect English which helped a lot. The only down fall was that it was not with in walking distance of main touristy area but that was ok. I would stay here again.

Decent Hotel for the money

It was in a good location, above the train station. We could access the Metro and the trains very easily. The front desk was always nice. The beds were hard. The room was clean, but it seemed like it hadn't been remodeled in at least 15 years. Besides being above the train station, it was in a quiet neighborhood, away from all the tourist sights, which was nice. There were enough restaurants within walking distance to still make it nice. It was a good hotel for the money. As long as you don't mind an outdated room, it was good.

good location for the price

Located directly above sants station where you can access the metro. close to airport next to "Bus Turistic" stop (tour bus that has over 40 stops around the city.) 10 min walk to placa de espanya i don't reccomend the restaurant for breakfast or dinner. the food is not worth the price they charge. room was ok, nothing spectacular. some mold around the bathtub which was surprising for a 4 star hotel.

Great location

What I mean by location is that the Hotel was right on top of the (Metro, Train, Bus, and other stations). The tour bus station was right infront of the hotel and the metro (All Lines) was located below the hotel. We took the train, which was located below the hotel to the Airport and it only took 15-20 minutesto get there. We could access anywhere in Barcelona from this hotel.

Excellent room for the cost

The facilities are excellent and so is the service. The only drawback is the beds were too hard. However, the location and the assistance provided by the front desk far offset that minor issue.
