Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 4Needs improvement
Nice hotel everything was clean and people very helpfull but I was surprised that I had to pay to park my car in the hotel garage. I never heard of that before... what a rip off. Breakfast was also way too expensive, it was a lot cheaper to eat somewhere else. Beside these inconviences the hotel was fine just don't park there and don't eat there too.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 4Great Place to Vacation!
My fiance and I recently stayed a weekend at the Hotel Washington and had a blast! The Staff couldn't have been friendlier! The young lady who checked me in noticed it was my birthday and issued me a gift cerificate to the extremely nice Capital Cafe located within the hotel. The doorman even loaned us his umbrella when we departed the hotel one rainy morning. Would definitely recommend to business travelers and vactioners alike!

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 4Not worth it
The staff were friendly and accommodating. Management made an attempt to resolve our complaints fixing the toilet and providing some food discounts. The location was pretty good with lots of restaurants nearby and a metro stop about three blocks away. The room was small and dirty. The hotel is noisy. Given the price of the room, food and parking it was not a good value for a weekend get away. The construction looks like it will continue for some time.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 4Great Hotel
Great place, set up very nicely. All of the staff was very friendly, and knew a lot about the city. Specifically, directions. The interior gift shop had everything you needed, in case you forgot something, and there were three places to eat, right in the hotel. Food was a bit pricey, but not too bad considering the city. However, housekeeping wasn't very good about knocking before they came in (in lieu of using the "do not disturb sign"), and we found a book under our bed. So we guessed it hadn't been cleaned under there for awhile. Besides that, it was a spectacular place.
