Just ok

The hotel showed some signs of being run down, from the outside lights on the palm trees never came on at night,to the bathroom that needed remodeling, and the front desk people were not very friendly....

Can't wait to go back!

I wasn't expecting much for the price. The room was booked at the last possible moment. The gentleman at the front was extremely nice. The room had all the ammenities, including free wireless internet access and basic cable. The continental breakfast was outstanding. Try the waffle maker. The pool was nice. The hotel is very close to downtown and right accross the street is the Moorten Botanical Gardens. I can't wait to go back!

outstanding hotel

Great hotel. Located just off the strip close to downtown. Great view of the san jucinto moutains. Very nice and confotable chairs. We actualy had a nice reclining chair in our room. The wireless internet was a great plus.

Needs improvement

Hotel is far from downtown. Very noisey and unclean. When we checked in we were not given the room we requested at time of booking. Also we had to call front desk for a shower curtain. Staff very unfriendly. So called breakfast was horrible. Pool and jaccuzi dirty.

The complimentary continental breakfast was better than expected. The room rate was very reasonable. A nice little place.

I was satisfied to have a pleasant stay in Palm Springs at the Royal Sun Inn at a very good rate. The complimentary continental breakfast was actually pretty good. There was plenty to eat. If you don't mind a room that might be a little small and the possibility that you may hear your neighbors walking around on the floor above you, then don't hesitate to choose this hotel.

Great room for the money

Hotel is old and could use new carpet and paint. Overall I was satisfied.

Very Nice Accomodations

Price was beyond right, especially for Palm Springs. Room was clean, comfortable bed ... clean linen, clean bathroom, comfortable easy chair, nice little table and chairs and balcony also w/ table and chairs. Small fridge wasn't working, microwave, coffee pot. Separate sink area from shower / toilet. Ample closet and dresser space. My only suggestion especially with their weather so hot would be to make sure that rooms that will be occupied to turn the air on before the guests arrived. Temps were over 100 outside and 90 inside ... other than that, no problems. Internet available for reasonable price, front desk personnel very friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Great Getaway

This was a great place for a quick weekend getaway - especially if you want to keep the price down. It was a few minutes from downtown Palm Springs, great view of the mountain, the rooms were clean and the pool was great.
