Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 31Great room for the money
Very clean room and bathroom; having both a microwave and a refrigerator were a wonderful convenience; the continental breakfast had freshly baked items and more choices than I expected; excellent value

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 31Needs updating
This hotel has so much potential. It's very cute. It's in a good area, has a nice pool, and provided a great little breakfast which was included. But our room had an odor which may have been a cleaning product of some kind. The furnishings were old and dingy. The worst were the drapes and bedding. Spend a little money and buy new ones! I would have recommended this place if the room didn't smell and the drapes/bedding didn't look like they were from the 1970's. And I don't mean retro. They were worn and discolored.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 31literally stinks!
The outside of this hotel looks inviting, but our room literally stank! It reeked of a strong chemical smell, and all of the interior furnishings obviously needed to be replaced years ago. Our bedspread was disgusting, and the sheets were so old that there were holes from the wear and tear. The hotel is actually situated to have a very nice view of San Juacinto mountain behind Palm Springs, but the unpruned trees in front of our room window prevented us from enjoying the view. Breakfast was decent, although the breakfast room is extremely small and very hot (there is a woman in an adjacent room baking bread, and it really heats up the breakfast eating area). The bottom line is this: don't stay here unless they complete a floor-to-ceiling renovation of all the rooms.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 31Outstanding value for money
Good, clean basic hotel with pool, hot tub and perfectly adequate free breakfast. Very good value for money (in February, at least!)

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 31Great location, but not a great hotel
I stayed here for a bargain, and now I understand why. I don't expect 5-star luxury--or even 2-star accomodations--at a discount place. The hotel is old and needs some work. I can forgive that. The staff were a little weird, but not rude. I can forgive that. But the room was, well, a bit on the scary side. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and it was a decent size, but it just felt really grimy. The carpet, linens, and curtains were all stained/discolored. Even with the fan on all night, there was a lot of noise from folks wandering the halls and from upstairs. The shower oscillated between freezing cold and scalding hot. Remembering the negative comments from previous raters, I didn't even attempt the breakfast. I just checked out and left as soon as I could. The location, I will say, is extremely convenient, and it's at least somewhat off the most major thoroughfares (though there was still a good amount of audible traffic). However, there are definitely nicer places nearby, and next time I'm going to spend the few extra bucks and stay at one of them instead.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 31Very clean and well maintained, Great room for the money
The room was really comfortable and well equipt with all the comodities: coffe machine, microwave, little fridge etc. all for a very resonable price. the pool was well heated and it was great to get a morning swim. It's a small but very pleasent place to stay especialy with kids. There is even a small picknik area with a BBQ if really feel like it.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 31Great for the money
The Hotel was in a very quiet part of Palm Springs and had plenty of sunshine. The refrigerator door in our room did not close so we could not use their little kitchenette area. They did change us to another room. For the money, we'd go back again. The pool was heated and they had a free continental breakfast (was not what we wanted, so we ate out). They have a balcony for each room and it was nice to get more sun from that advantage point. We would go back again and stay at this particular place. Next time, I would specifically request a kitchenette so I could have breakfast and lunch in the room.

Make sure you get directions because this hotel's street is a branch of another. The breakfast area was way too small with only three small tables but breakfast was sufficient. Hot food was waffles they had juice, coffee, cereal and pastries. Room was large and quiet first night though walls are a bit thin as the activities in the next room could be heard. Overall, I got what I paid for and was more than comfortable
