Stuck in a Tiny Room...and Multiple Trips to the Front Desk!

We received our keys at check in and took the elevator to the 7th floor where our keys wouldn't open our room...So I went downstairs to the front desk and fixed our keys. After coming back from dinner, our keys again wouldn't open our room, so back downstairs to the desk to fix our keys!(and no I did not have them next to my cell phone.) We got stuck in an approx. 5 foot shorter room than other guests, but still had a queen size bed... Made no sence to put the biggest bed they have in a tiny room. Everything was so crammed in there there was no room to move.

Didn't get the room I booked

Booked this room for a stay before vaction leaving out of SLC airport. I booked a King which hotel.com guarentees your booking. After returning from out of the country, arrived at hotel and there were no kings left. They gave us 2 beds instead. They offered $5 breakfast coupon as compensation. Breakfast buffet was bad, and we had no beverage service.

Very noisy

Our room was situated close to the night club. Two nights were so noisy we couldn't sleep until after 2:30 am. Our room was very warm and we didn't seem to be able to adjust the temperature. Friends stayed in the same area of the hotel and said they would never stay there again. The breakfast was only so-so and the serving staff were quite unfriendly. $20 breakfast vouchers for hotels.com bookees were given out inconsistently. We were allowed only one for our 3 day stay, our friends received 6 for their 6 day stay.

Good Room for the money.

The hotel room was fine. There is a nighclub on the 13th floor. You can't hear anything from the club, but lots of people coming in and out of the hotel all the time.

Great Value

We stay at this hotel often when we are in SLC. The rate includes a very good breakfast buffet (eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and fruit). All in all it is a good value. Clean, friendly staff, and well located. I would recommend this hotel.

Good Hotel, buffet not up to standard

The Hotel is typical of a Red Lion. Very nice room and furnishings. Quiet even though we were by the elevator. Recommend the east facing view -- a lovely view of the city night sky. We received a voucher for breakfast that included a buffet or made to order breakfast -- take the breakfast. The buffet was not hot -- the french toast was not replenished after I took the last one. Waitress paid more attention to the people who sat in the main dining room than the side dining room. Had to keep asking for more coffee.

Good View

Expected two queen beds and ended up with one queen bed that was sagging in the middle. Very uncomfortable and not up to Red Lion standards. Otherwise room was good.

Quality Abound

The quality of the Hotel is High End and not a single thing needs to be done. Our first room had a maintenance problem, water was coming through the ceiling but it was handled very professionally and should not be used negatively on this Hotel
