Great Value

This Hotel is a Gem, it has everything you need in a modern setting, The only issues that you need to be aware of is Parking is not Free, Water leaks from the shower glass, and the swimming pool is so small, but other than that the Hotel is great.

Excellent Choice

This was my first visit to New Orleans and this hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. Initially, the only downside was the outrageous nightly valet parking fees, but I soon realized that was normal. The location was great and within walking distance of the entire French Quarter. I also have to say that the employees were extremely helpful!

Perfect Wedding

My now husband and I rent a room for our wedding, which we decided to get married only 3 weeks after knowing each other, and found this to be the perfect location to the wedding chapel and in our price range. We arrived a little late, the service was excellent and they even competed a a bottel of wine for the wedding night. It was a wonderful room and we had a wonderful time.

unexpected changes

I booked this hotel through Hotels.com, paid for it through them as well. When I arrived to the hotel all I wanted to do was check in and get up to the room. I was told that since was using my check card ( that has visa on it) that I would have to put another $50 a night on the card. The $50 was incase I ordered room service, valet parking, made phone calls or pretty much charged anything to my room. So in short I was now $200 less with my spending money and they tried to charge it to my account twice.

Great Location, Good Price

This hotel was a good price for the great location. Decor and service typical of what you expect from an Omni. Unfortunately, I have to give a rating of '2' for room comfort. The air conditioner just could not compete with the New Orleans heat. We had a very warm room each day and all through the night. Also, the shower door only covers half of the tub and so half of the water ends up on the bathroom floor leaving a very slippery marble surface. Location made up for these issues, though.

Pleasantly Surprised

I was afraid that the pictures on the website would not reflect the true hotel, but all worries were put aside when we arrived. My wife and I had our wedding anniversary at the hotel and felt very satisfied with our choice. The only thinig we wish this hotel had was a pool. The jacuzzi was not used due to the hot weather temperatures outside which made it undesirable at the moment. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a hotel with class that is affordable.

"Great Hotel"

My fiancee' and I really loved the hotel. The location was within walking distance to all the great hangouts French Quarters, Landry's etc. Nice touch on the use of the bath robe. Real Nice.

Great place to stay

No hotel is perfect but for the price, this one is pretty close. My partner and I stay one night, April 23, and we loved it. Our room was a corner room with a great view. The hotel is nice, clean, and quiet. Only two blocks west of Canal St. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

We liked it

The staff was great. The room was clean and smoke free. And the hotel was close but not too close to the French Quarter. We would go back there again.

Good location, not a 4 star place

Hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to everything. Price was decent. Service was weak. There is almost no lobby, and people are rarely at the desk. The bar serves a good happy hour price, and the bartender was very pleasant. If you are looking for a hotel that won't bother you, and is near everything this is your place. If you want 4 star comfort and service, this is NOT where you need to stay. For us, it served the purpose of our stay.
