Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 16Very nice.
Very nice hotel for being one of the cheaper options. Lives up to the omni name; a little der but speaks luxury. Be careful to request a quiet room; those on the street will hear the nearby nite club music and foot traffic in and out until 2 am.

Beautiful hotel and very clean---lovely beds great staff there are only 2 things that need improvement---the wireless connection in the hotel room is really poor/constantly disappearing---very annoying!! also--the valet takes too long to get car even when not busy upon check out they took over 3o minutes

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 16Great room for the money
This hotel was clean, quiet, and great for the money. I will definitely stay here again if I go to New Orleans again. The location is excellent also.

This hotel in in the heart of New Orleans with cobble stone streets and everything you would want in an old southern city. I loved every minute of it!

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 16Great Hotel but Needs better WiFi
I have stayed at this hotel 3 times and very satisfied with cleanliness and location. Only problem I have is getting wireless to connect. Some floors have better reception than others. Also be aware that all they have is valet parking which will cost $27/day.

Located a block off of Canal Street, safe neighborhood, nice hot tub on roof with a small work-out facility. no pool. restaurant had great buffet breakfast. you can't go wrong for the price.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 16Great hotel, newly updated rooms
I stay often in hotels in the central busienss district and most of the hotels in this area or those near the french quarter have a kind of dark & damp and don't have a new or clean feeling (for example, Le Pavillon, the Hilton, or the Hampton Inn). The reason I loved this hotel is that the rooms feel and smell new and clean and are beautfully decorated. On the down side, make sure you request a quiet room away from the street if you plan on sleeping. The first night I was there they gave me a room on the 2nd floor right at the corner of a busy intersection. The floor to ceiling windows are single pane, so you hear everything on the street - even the conversations of people waling by in the middle of the night.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 16Great Location
Was in New Orleans on business but also stayed for a bit of "relaxation" for the weekend. I was lucky enough to book the Omni a few weeks in advance as I was unaware that it was "Jazz Fest", PGA in town, and the NBA playoffs as well...Location was great for both business and fun as we could walk to the Quarter and to the Hornets game. The room was a very good size, very clean and quiet. Only complaint would be that there was no waste basket in the bathroom...not a deal breaker..just odd. Would stay here again when in New Orleans...

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 16What a find!
My wife and I stayed in a nearby hotel over the weekend, took a few days to drive north, and returned for an overnight stay at Omni Royal Crescent. Because it was a mid-week night, the price for the rating seemed like a good deal. But it was better than we expected. The hotel is gorgeous, the room was crisp, and it came with an added bonus that we weren't expecting: the jacuzzi tub.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 16Nice Hotel
Great Location and Nice rooms for the price. Only complaint is that I had no internet service in my room throughout my stay. I called tech support and then they sent someone to the room who did not know much about computers. No one could figure out how to fix the problem.
Hotel Response
We are sorry that our wireless Internet was not working during your stay. We had a few problems with our system recently, but have made adjustments to correct it. We hope you will consider staying with us next time you are in New Orleans.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 16Great Location!
Hotel was clean and beautiful. The rooms were awesome and the bed was so comfortable. The only thing was the parking. Other than that I will be back.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 16Needs improvement
My room was located on the 2nd floor, and the street noise was so loud that sleep was difficult. Also, my booking information through hotels.com was not in the hotel computer even though I had confirmation. The front desk had to confirm my booking, and my check-in time was delayed by over an hour. This resulted in great frustration. A good rate, but I would have paid more for a decent sleep and a smooth check-in.
