Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 27Great hotel, great location
This is a great hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. I especially liked how easy it was to get to from the QEW.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 27Good location, convenient amenities
The Cosmopolitan is a very conveniently located hotel, just half a block from the King Street subway station, and walking distance to the Harbourfront, Dundas-Yonge Square, and the St. Lawrence Market. It's also very useful to have a kitchenette and washer and dryer in the room. The first room we were given did not have a washer and dryer so we had to wait a few minutes, and then we were moved to another room with all the amenities. The condition of the room was fine--didn't really feel like a four-star hotel to us, but considering what we paid for the room, it was a good value. However the sink plug in the bathroom didn't work, and never did get fixed even after I asked someone to take a look. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful, cleaning staff was mostly fine except for one day. We'd stay here again for the location, price, and amenities, but not for a "luxury" hotel experience.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 27Small room, great location
Everything was wonderful at this hotel besides the concierge. He recommended an Italian restaurant around the corner with terrible service, food, and overly priced. The bell hop was helpful with obtaining a taxi whenever we needed it and very friendly.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 27Cosmopolitan Toronto Centre Hotel Exceeds all Expectations
Probably the best experience we have ever had at any hotel and we have been to many in the world. The staff bent over backwards to make us feel at home. The rooms were clean, hardwood floors so no disgusting carpets to walk on. We had a kitchenette and there was even a washer/dryer in the room for no charge. Also, no charge for internet service, or local calls. The breakfast was nothing special. They had a free mediation class every evening and gave us a crystal stone on our pillow instead of chocolate. I love this place and will recommend it a lot.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 27A home away from home
My wife and I stayed at the hotel in July 2008. The hotel staff (especially the late night shift as we interacted with them the most since we went out a night quite a bit) was very courteous and friendly and the room was GREAT. Room was very clean and spacious. It actually felt like it was a small apartment in a great city. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Can't wait to get back.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 11 of 27Nice
Great location - walking distance to shopping, subway, coffee shops, Go train (I would not recommend renting a car - too much hassle). Staff is very friendly and helpful. They are more than happy to keep your bags and parcels in secure holding area after check-out. Very nice room. Bed is very comfortable. Washer and dryer is a nice bonus. They did not end up charging me for wireless internet. TV reception was mediocre. Great view. Only negative is $50 charge for a couple if you want to sit in the hot tub (spa fee).

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 27Tranquility in the heart of Toronto
I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat. The staff is so accomodating and personable. The lobby and bar are hip and cool and offer a great opportunity to people watch and/or meet people- I met several people from Toronto who visit the hotel bar after work quite often. The bed is extremely comfortable- nice linens and comfy pillows. Tall windows, beautiful wood floors, cordless phones, windows and a small balcony that can be open to let in fresh air, and a nice kitchen make this hotel very special. The only two complaints I have are that the living room furniture is extremely uncomfortable- 2 very upright leather chairs with low backs- and the flat screen TV in the front room had terrible reception. (I ended up watching TV in the bedroom because the flat screen TV in there had great reception and the bed is very comfortable.) Finally, the location of the hotel is ideal. It is tucked away on a small street and is therefore more quiet and is less congested with traffic, however....you just walk a couple of blocks and you are at Eaton Center for great shopping, movie theatres, and great restaurants. It really is the best of both worlds.
