Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 30Elegant little gem
Relaxing, charming place in the business district. We loved the setting, the amenities and the staff. Exceeded our expectations. Construction in the area made a little noise, but this was a minor annoyance that did not detract from the wonderful experience. We felt very fortunate and lucky to have found this hotel on hotels.com

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 30Loved this hotel
This hotel is conveniently located to restaurants, public transportation and other major hotels. The staff was very helpful. Instead of rooms, the hotel has well-designed suites and provide everything you would need including dishes in the kitchen, a washer/dryer and comfy robes to wear. The place was spotless. Because there are only a few suites on each floor, there is little noise or waiting for elevators. I enjoyed the new age touches like a small fountain gurgling in the room, a cd playing meditative music as we walked in and the turn down service with the incense of your choice. The wine bar downstairs seemed popular although we didn't take advantage of that. It seemed like a perfect hotel for a romantic get-away and I would strongly recommend it to my friends going to Toronto.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 30Best Hotel I Have Ever Stayed In
The service at this hotel was superb! Hotel staff were courteous, helpful, and very fun to talk to. I loved that the hotel was in the middle of downtown Toronto, but yet was not noisy or bustling with outside street noise. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Toronto. I loved it there, and did not want to leave! The suites with the washer/dryer set and the kitchenette were very nice, especially since my stay in Toronto was long. The spa was very nice and tidy, and was very clean. The hotel has a very comfortable feel, and is by far the best hotel that I have ever stayed in. The next time I am in Toronto the Cosmopolitan is guaranteed my business!

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 30Great Location - Great Facility
The hotel is located just off Yonge Street between Front and King within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, Union Station, the convention centre, Rogers Centre, CN Tower, St. Lawrence Market, etc. The subway is around the corner. Rooms are small suites with kitchenettes, mini laundries, irons, hair dryers, safes and most everything else one needs for an extended stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant on premises is expensive but good. Free breakfast and high speed Internet service are included in some packages, but you need to inquire to be sure. Beware the mini-bar (inside the refrigerator). In my room it was broken and empty. I informed the front desk and there was no problem. Parking is expensive (as it is everywhere in Toronto). But Toronto has excellent public transportation and a car is actually a hindrance.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 30Excellent hotel choice in downtown Toronto
My only concern with this hotel is that the room service was not very thorough. The only thing they did when servicing the room was make the bed and hang up the towels. Other than that I found the hotel to great. The rooms were large enough to be apartments and the location was great.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 30Loved it!
What a gem! I had such a nice stay in Toronto this weekend. The hotel staff was superb - extremely friendly and very helpful in directing us to fun things to do in the city. (And the guys were very handsome!). The wine bar had live music one night which was awesome. My only complaint was that the room was on the smaller side, but for the location and price, it really wasn't a big deal. I would definitely stay there again!

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 30Phenomenal!
This modern, chic, hotel was truly unexpected in this busy part of downtown Toronto. It's ensconced on a little side street, which made me feel very cozy and insulated. Our room was impeccable; the service was the best I've had in a hotel in a long time. The staff seemed authentically happy to work there and extremely interested in making my stay excellent. The free meditation sessions, spa, 24 hour gym, and turndown service (with incense) was lovely. I never even SAW the cleaning staff, but everytime I entered my room, it was clean and attended to. Finally the wine bar, "Eight," had delicious food and wine. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise--it's pretty robust! And they offer freshly-made omelettes on the weekend. Depending on the room package, you may get the continental breakfast free OR you may get a $25 voucher from the staff to use toward ANY service the hotel offers. In all sincerity, staying at the Cosmopolitan was the BEST part of my 4 day stay in Toronto. I would recommend it in a heartbeat.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 30Very nice!
The Cosmo if a very nice hotel right at Yonge and King street. The only issue I had was some street noise, and I was even on the 16th floor. The 8 Wine bar has a nice selection of wine and a very good menu.
