Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 488great deal
we go often to Las Vegas and like to stay off the strip. South Pointe is easy to get to with good parking. It's a little walk to the registration and room but not bad. The beds are very comfy and I love the Bath and Body products in the bathroom. we left clothes there and were able to pick them up four days later. I also like that they have a little office that offers reduced prices on some of the shows. Great place for the price.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 488Great Hotel
Hotel has all the amenties. Large casino, huge rooms, several restaurants to choose from, movie theater, bowling alley and all the tv screens you could wish for during football season. We enjoyed ourselves. Only downside is the the location is away from the strip. Can take the bus to/from the strip for low $. Have stayed here twice and still enjoyed it. Would come back again.

We always spend the night at the South Point when we fly out of Las Vegas. It is conveniently located away from the terrible traffic on the "Strip." The South Point provides free shuttle service to and from the airport. We can also leave our autombile at the hotel free of charge. We have eaten at just about all of the restaurants in the South Point and have never been disappointed. We recently ate at their Mexican Restaurant. Food was very good. I would highly recommend staying at the South Point Hotel and Casino.

The rooms were great and the staff could not have been better!! Because of the location I would only stay at this hotel for an onsite function or special event,as I did for this stay.

I really enjoyed staying at South Point. The hotel is new, clean and large. The rooms are nice, large and clean. The casino is large but nothing special. The selection of bars and restaurants is very good with great prices (especially happy hour). There is a very nice pool and spa area. There is also a large sports betting area and a huge bingo hall. Also located above the main casino floor is a very nice large movie theater and a new huge bowling alley. This hotel is in a great location, easy new access off of the 15 freeway, and right up the road to the main part of the strip. Bus transportation is available. A+

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 488Very nice
The hotel was very nice. The room I had came with a flat screen tv, the pool area was nice. It was far from the strip and will cost you a $25 cab ride. A quiet hotel and not really a party atmosphere.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 488Outstanding Hotel, Great room for the money.
South Point was amazing. The cost was excellent, our services exceeded the cost. I've stayed in many hotels on the strip and it definitely is above all the rest. Although it is a bit of a drive from the strip, that made it much better. It was quiet and we could avoid the strip traffic. It is very close to the freeway on ramps, which worked out nicely. There are many food choices close to hotel. We also had more luck on slots over any other hotel. The view from our room was overlooking the beautiful pool and equestrian center. If you don't like horses or cattle you may not like it, because it does smell like horses. But I love that smell so it didn't bother me a bit. The pool was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. Although the weather wasn't great, the spa was perfect. I will definitely be staying at South Point each time I go back.
