Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 513Just right for the money
Although a little further out then I expected I liked the quietness of not being right in the middle of the strip. Really liked the fact that I didn't hear sirens or people in the hallway all night. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The night time atmosphere in the casino was more relaxed than most, made it more comfortable to hang out in. Staff was great and always there to say hi or answer questions. Would most definitely recommend this hotel!!!

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 513Great value, so-so location
The hotel was a great deal for the price I payed, and the on-site movie theater, bowling alley, and spa were great. The location is fine unless you want to be close to the strip. If you take the 15 freeway back and forth, however, the trip isn't as long.

The rooms are clean, spacious, and located in quiet area, yet close to Las Vegas strip.

Too far out (I had to ask if it was actually a Vegas address. It is, but barely.) If you don't smoke, don't stay there. Really, the casino is terrible and the smell follows you right to your room. Death by "gold": If you like a primarily monochromatic gold color theme, you'll love your overly large room. This place just made me hate Vegas more than I already do. It's a place where the have nots pretend to have fun. If you have to be in Vegas, be IN Vegas, not on the edges!

This hotel is great for the price if you are not going to the strip by cab. If they had a free shuttle it would be perfect. I also wish they had better ventilation in the casino.

This hotel suited my needs for I really only needed a bed and a fitness center otherwise was working. Price was great, but everything else was ala carte - fitness center, steam room etc. If you are working and do not need to be on the strip then this is the place, but if you are using it as a resort - probably look other places. Room was new and clean, but a little blah.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 513Overpriced for Vegas - Especially for Location
Nice hotel, basically a 3 star with cavernous rooms, really big bathrooms, and a plasma TV, but missing the posh/decorator touch of similar Vegas hotels in this price range. I've stayed at a lot of hotels in Vegas, on and off strip, and with it's location off strip ( by a couple of miles) I would expect more for the price. You can pay the same amount or LESS and stay on the strip or right next to it, or for the same price you can stay at a 5 star off strip just a little further away.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 513Off the Strip
This is a fantastic hotel which while technically on the strip is miles away from anything else on the strip. You can't just go out and walk to other hotels or restaurants or anything for that matter. get a car or a cab.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 513Great place for the money
If you are looking for a place to stay in Las Vegas that is a little more low key than one of the many hotel/casinos immediately on the strip, the South Point might be for you. It is a few miles south of the "strip" though still on Las Vegas Blvd. The rooms are very nice and spacious, the pool is very nice, and the freeway access is great as they have a fairly new interchange that gets you immediately to the hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 513Shuttle problem
The hotel and staff were fantastic but the shuttle schedule was not. When I called for pickup, I was told it would be an hour before another hotel shuttle. The regular airport shuttles did not go to this facility because they were south of the airport, not on the strip or downtown leaving me only taxi service. I had to leave for my return flight at 0530; so, once again I had to take a taxi. For such an outstanding facilty, this is a real negative.
