Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 75Super Service Staff, Great Location
Hotel is in a great location, has beautiful grounds, many places to eat on site, wonderful pool, great lounge, and best of all, the staff. Many thanks to Sofiya and Brandon at the front desk, they really make you feel welcome and important. Also to the wonderful concierge, Dave, who went out of his way with making arrangements for us. The dinner was all that you said it would be. We will be back in October, so save us a room.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 75Very accomodating
When we arrived, we were given a room on the first floor right outside the pool, which was great because I have teenagers and it was convenient, on the other hand, we were on the first floor with the little lizard creatures and weren't able to leave the patio door open. Fortunately, on the first night, our air conditioner started to leak and leave a nice little puddle in our room. Within one half hour, we were packed up, moved out and placed in an upgraded room in the tower. The service was unbelievable and they couldn't have been more apologetic. I'm not sure if I would have been as happy on the first floor for five days. The upgrade was awesome. Very happy employees. Always greeted in and out of the hotel.

We traveled to Ft. Lauderdale during the low season (summer) and were very happy with this hotel. We couls never afford it during high season. Very convenient to the beaches and on its own little peninsula. Take the water taxi which stops at the hotel pier-- a great way to see the inland waterway. Beautiful lobby, decorated very Miami modern, and manicured landscaping. We will go back!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 8 of 75Awesome!
Great location, we were leaving very early the next morning for a cruise, it was less than 5 mins away - perfect. Everyone was pleasant, the Pier 66 restaurant was fantastic and at a great price (summer specials - 3 course for $35) with specials on fabulous wine as well. Really trying to appeal to the conscious consumer. The grounds were beautiful, it was right off the causeway, but there wasn't much noise transfer, so it wasn't an issue. We'll be back!

I think they should have told us the parking was 21.00 a night.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 75OK HOTEL
The staff was not so very friendly. As I walked the property during my stay, 2 out of 10 employees made eye contact with me and gave a warm greeting. The floor in my room was not swept nor vaccumed at all. I had to wear slippers in the room because of the dirt on the floor. The bathroom was all disgusting. The corners of the shower had mold which was also disgusting. Overall the hotel was okay. I would not stay in the hotel again.

pricy due to addition for every single item. Clean but lacking in some areas (i.e. shelves with towels are very dusty). Beds are not flipped and mattress are lopsided which made it difficult to sleep.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 12 of 75Professional staff, resort environment!
The staff was extraordinarily professional - responsive, accommodating, informed, and available. The staff was a perfect compliment to the on-site ammenities of the hotel.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 13 of 75Expensive, But Definitely Worth Staying There At Least Once
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty Six for two nights prior to the start of our wedding/honeymoon cruise. We picked this hotel because (1) it is almost across the street from Port Everglades -- otherwise known as Fort Lauderdale's cruise ship port -- and (2) because the hotel is beautiful, almost a work of art in itself. Our room was a King on the 11th floor of the tower. Our balcony was a wrap-around on the southeast side, giving us a spectacular 180-degree view of Port Everglades, the Intracoastal Waterway, the Atlantic Ocean and the accompanying coastline going north and south, and a beautiful marina/residential area just to the east and northeast of the hotel property. The room itself was a generous size. The bathroom was luxurious and spacious. An important note for tall/big people and/or people with disabilities -- The tower was obviously built decades ago before current size/space standards were put in place. The ceilings in the hallways appear to be just over seven feet high and the hallways and doorways are rather narrow. The rooms, on the other hand, appear to have been recently rennovated and they are open and spacious. The only issue inside the room was a narrow entrance hallway with a sharp right turn leading out into the main area of the room. I don't know how well a good-sized wheelchair would do in this design. I would assume that the hotel has certain rooms/areas designated for wheelchair access. A note about the balconies -- The hotel tower has a unique embellished hexagonal architecture and there are at least three different types of balconies: 1) Flush along the east and west walls of the hotel tower are regular rectangular balconies. These look like balconies you might find in an apartment or condo building near the beach. 2) On even-numbered floors along the northeast/west and southeast/west walls of the hotel tower are triangular shaped balconies with solid railing-height walls (instead of railings) surrounding them. The triangula

Take the local trolley for traveling. Taxi's are too expensive in this area. Hotel is very near Port Everglades for those cruisers. Lovely yachts docked right outside the hotel and the best view of Fort Lauderdale can be had from the towers. Would stay there again.
