Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty Six

Superb staff, room design, view, and exceptional bar and menu

I'm opening a new office in Las Olas and even though I live in beachfront highrise in Bal Harbor this place became my second home for two weeks. The staff should be the standerd in which all other lux hotels measure by. All rooms from any side of the building provide a spectacular view of Ft. Lauderdale's skyline , intercoastal and ocean. The menu easily competes with the Ritz and London's Dorrchester. Don't miss their Sunday brunch on their mini rotating "space needle" top floor ( full floor rotation takes one hour ). By far the best brunch I've come across in 16 years of world travel. T. Moore

Good value for the price

This hotel has good emenities and the room was clean and spacious. I did ask for a room with a good view and was disappointed to be on the ground floor. The surroundings are very enjoyable.

great room for the price

I found my stay at Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty Six to be extremely accomodating. The cleanliness and courtesy far exceeded my expectations.

Just dissappointed all the way

First the front desk had that stiff upper lip syndrome. They gave me a room which I would'nt put my dog in if I had one, they then change it and gave me another that needed cleaning and I had the worst night ever. The pillows were so bad from some type of stench I had to have them change. I made a call which did'nt connect to my home in New York, they decoded my room keys and told me I had to pay $50+ so I can go back to my room. Room service charge more than what the food cost to bring it to you. I would,nt stay there never ever again or even recommend it to anyone. I would rather stay on the streets.

good hotel

the only problem is that if take the Lanai rooms, you have to walk a lot to get to the room , to the lobby, it seemed like 5 minutes walk to get to the room

First Class Service

The bellman remembered my name even though I had not been back to this hotel for one year and was not even a guest of the hotel, but a guest of someone who docked at the hotel slip. The front desk upgraded my room and called me by my name when addressing me. I was impressed that the bellman remembered my name from a year ago.

Nice place, with small problems

Maybe its a Florida thing, the hotel price is ok, probably because it was off season. But all the service, wi-fi, food are quite expensive. Hotel itself is good. no question about it.

Except for parking stay was pleasant.

Depending on your room, there could be a long walk to the parking lot. Also there is a minimum of $18 a day charge for parking. It would have been nice to know both ahead of time. Overall the hotel stay was a pleasant experience.
