Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 30Great Hotel!
We went to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and had a fabulous time. Everyone in the hotel was very accommodating including the concierge, front desk and the door man. The beds were amazing - great, soft comforter and pillows, felt like home! It was centrally located to everything we wanted to see - Sears Tower, Navy Pier, Water Tower Place. Would definitely stay there again!

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 30Excellent Stay
This hotel is a great value for the money. It is within walking distance to many attractions. The only problem we had was that at check in they gave us a room that was already occupied. But, the problem was quickly resolved and we were given vouchers for free breakfast for the small inconvenience.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 30Room Cleanliness
Nice hotel. Conveniently located. The check in was efficient. My only complaint would be the desk clerk seemed bored with his job, but did it very efficiently. No idle chatter or friendliness. It was very warm when we visited Chicago, near 90, and the hotel hallways were not sufficiently air conditioned. They were stuffy. The elevators are agonizingly slow. The biggest thing that brought my high regards for this hotel down was one day we left early to go to a museum. When we returned to our room about 6 hours later, it was not made up. We wanted to nap for an hour and a half, but the maid knocked on the door even though we had the do not disturb sign on the door. We did not answer, she left, and when we came back to our room after the architectual boat ride, the room was still not made up, and the dirty towels had not been replaced. In addition, we thought there might be more linens under the window seat, but the only things under the window seat was trash from previous tennents. A plastic water bottle, a rotting sandwich wrapper, and other debris. We found another half full water bottle in one of the drawers in the room, and the fancy water bottles for sale in the room hadn't been dusted in a week. You could have planted potatoes on top of the bottles.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 30Great location. Great price.
What a great location for the price. I was afraid that it would be old and dirty. Not the case. Clean, nice and friendly staff.

Stayed here before when it was under construction. Nice to see it now that it's finished. Nice bar in the lobby. Parking was convenient but expensive. $41.00 a day (downtown Chicago, am I surprised?) but you get in and out privledge. They don't valet so you have to go get your car but you're not tipping somebody everytime you get in and out of the car either. Hotel was in a very good location and was very well maintained. We did think it a bit odd that the maid was knocking on our door at 8:00 a.m. to clean the room. A D-N-D sign is recommended.
