I got a room through this hotel for about $75 cheaper through Hotels.com than if I were to purchase the hotel room direcntly through the hotel chain

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 114It's a winner
We had stayed here about a year ago and it was excellent; this trip was no different. This hotel puts most others in AC to shame. If you can afford it, its clean, comfy beds and blankets, marble bathrooms, great location (parking is $14/night though) and has a courteous staff.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 114needs improvement on sound insulation, amenities
we stayed to the Sheraton, because we've had good experience with the chain previously. However, This sheraton was not well laid out. we had to walk through the hotel's hallways, through wedding receptions, to get to the resturant (Tuns). Once outside, you had to circumvent the entire hotel to get to the outlets or anywhere else. Most annoying was their response to our extremely loud and annoying neighbor. He was apparently having a great time at 3000 decibels at 4 am. It took 3 phone calls to get response from security! we will not be returning.

we stayed on a friday night. in AC all the rooms were expensive but this was the best price in a luxury place. everything was fine. the only thing i can complain about is the valet service was slow.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 114Great Place
Hotel was outstanding with a few minuses for example having to pay for parking, no fridge in the room, and no free WIFI....but overall location was great could walk to and from beach. Staff was great I had a couple of business things to take care of with my job and I had to fax, copy, and actually mail off a couple of things and when a staff member realized how frustrating it was begining to be they offered to do it for me, and sure enough it got done in the proper manner!...so kudos to The Sharaton. Also room was clean and the hotel restuarant was great...I would definately stay here again!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 114Club rooms not worth the extra cost
I stayed with my guest for 4 days in a Club Room, the more expensive rooms on the top two floors of the hotel. It was not worth the extra cost over a normal room. The rooms are exactly the same size, and do not contain the extra amenities the Sheraton website says are included. The main feature of the club rooms is supposed to be access to the Club Lounge, with free continental breakfast and afternoon/evening hors d'oeuvres. In reality, "continental breakfast" consists of bagels, cold cereal or oatmeal (no eggs or other cooked food), and is only served 7AM to 9:30AM. If you're not awake during this narrow window, expect nothing. The afternoon/evening hors d'oeuvres don't exist on Mondays, and are there for only an hour or two other days. The concierge that stands at the door to the lounge stares you down like you're some kind of freebie leech for daring to come. Room service was horrible. There's a room service menu left in the room when you check in, and contains breakfast items only. When you call to order past 11AM, they tell you breakfast is not served; so why is it in the room, with no hours listed? You can order room service during the afternoon and evening from Tun Tavern, a restaurant next to the hotel. However, the number of added fees for doing so was astounding. We ordered $21 worth of food (two dishes, which were small), and got a $45 bill: - Sales tax - Food tax - Beer tax - Automatic Gratuity - $10 Service Fee - $5 Delivery Fee In other words, even assuming you'd pay the same gratuity in the restaurant, you pay *at least* $20 for the privilege of room service. Overall, it's a clean hotel with comfortable rooms, but we expected more for the extra cost of the Club Lounge, and expected more from the room service they say they offer.

Very clean, room spacious, and easy access to outlet shopping; however, parking fee a little bit expensive.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 114Great Location for Us
The Sheraton is located adjacent to the Convention Center which was perfect for our needs. The outlets are right across the street and the casinos just a few blocks away. The only problem was that there were only 2 bath towels and 1 bar of soap in the room. I called down to the front desk and was disappointed that when we returned from losing money at the casino that the towels were still not delivered. A second call and the matter was settled. When the desk clerk asked me how was our stay when we were checking out, I mentioned about the lack of towels. She said it was policy that only 2 bath towels are placed in the room. Otherwise, a great stay. The breakfast buffet was good also.
