Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 15So Relaxing
The Westin Grand Vancouver is a really great hotel for relaxing and being in close proximity to downtown. The room was very comfortable, and all of the staff we met were very kind. The only drawback for us was that the pool is outdoors and it was too cold outside for us to use it. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 15Very nice hotel, good location, very helpful staff
We were very pleased with our stay. This isn't a cozy romantic getaway - it's a modern business-type hotel that also has a lot of tourists. The staff was very helpful. For example, we arrived at 8am (too early to get our room), but they offered to call us when the room was ready (which was around 11am) - I thought that was very nice to offer the notification, even when we told them we weren't in a rush.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 15Service with Excellence
The staff at this hotel know what customer service is all about. Everyone was courteous, helpful and professional. A great place to stay close to everything downtown and even a mini-grocery store next door. Our corner room had a balcony with table and chairs so we could sit outside and read the paper provided and drink coffee (also provided). We stayed 4 days and enjoyed every minute.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 15Very nice, good location, small rooms
The hotel worked well for our family of 3 with the suite layout. Rooms a little small with unusual angles due to building design but very well appointed and thought out. Used the on-site restaurant for one breakfast. Meal quite good although expensive. Starbucks located across the street.

Hotel suite was a little cramped for 4 people -- we were expecting a room with 2 queens, but instead got 1 queen with a pull out sofa. Room was very cramped. Concierge's were not well informed about area restaurants -- highly recommended a place that was terrible and also recommended a restaurant that was no longer open -- after we had walked all the way down to it. Didn't know anything about the ferry service, but were helpful in getting information to us although it was too late. Hotel room was clean. Fitness center was awesome. Didn't try restaurants.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 15Great hotel, perfect location
We had a 1BR suite for a family with 3 young children. Baby crib in the bedroom, and the two older kids on the sofa bed. There was still plenty of room to roam around. The room also had a small bar/kitchenette with a sink, microwave, small fridge and dishwasher. It worked out very well for us. Location on Robson was fantastic. We walked all over to Science World, shopping, dinner... Hotel staff were all very nice and helpful also. Highly recommended.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 15Outtsanding Hotel & Service
Great rooms! Booked 2 rooms on the 31st floor, one with the balcony (Executive Deluxe Suites. They were well worth the money, very clean and immaculate. As soon as we walked in, we saw personalized cards, one room had a complimentary chocolate covered strawberries and the other had homemade cookies & 4 glasses of milk in the fridge. The rooms were spacious and the king size beds were fluffy with nice big bathrooms. The location is right on Robson, so lots of shopping nearby. The Executive Suites also come with complimentary internet and breakfast (continental buffet and/or full breakfast if you desire). Definitely lots of delicious breakfast pastries, not donuts like some cheaper hotels). Customer service was top notch, I will definitely stay here again!

It was in a great location. We were able to walk all over downtown. The rooms were nice and the staff were friendly as well. I highly reccomend this hotel.
