Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 8Great room for the money
I was extremely satisfied with the room, and the hotel in general, and will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Salt Lake City. I was also impressed with getting free wireless internet. There was construction going on to bring the pool up to code, (March 2009) but they only worked from about 9:30 AM to about 6:00 PM, so that was no problem, as most people were out during those hours. The free continental breakfast was excellent too, and everyone was very helpful & friendly! It was just a short walk to the Family History Center and temple, which was another plus.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 8Great room for the money
Was a great location since we were in town for a concert at the Energy Solutions Arena and it was only about a block away. Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, when we had a problem with the toilet sent someone up to fix it. Walls were a little thin but would stay here again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 8Gets the job done
If you need to be in the heart of down town SLC but don't want to pay a whole lot then this will do fine. My only issues with the place were that my sheets left me very itchy on the first night and the bed is like sleeping on a rock. I was expecting to have a fridge and a couch in the room but it didn't. They did provide a nice sized desk with computer chair but I would rather have a couch. The lobby is the bright spot of the place as well as the only new looking area. The provided breakfast in the lobby was better then I was thinking it was going to be but even still it was just bagels cereal and bagels with oj and hot chocolate.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 8OVERALL, IT WAS ALRIGHT
I WANTED A PLACE WITH A POOL, CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST AND BE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF ENERGY SOLUTIONS ARENA, SO THAT WAS GOOD, BUT THE QUALITY OF THE ROOM WASN'T WORTH WHAT I PAID. SMELLED LIKE CIGARETTE SMOKE, LIGHTS ABOVE SINK DIDN'T WORK HALF OF THE TIME AND A/C WOULD GO ON AND OFF SPORADICALLY, DESPITE THE TEMPERATURE SETTING. OVERALL, IT WAS ALRIGHT.

The walls and doors were so thin. we heard everyone who walked past all night long. You could hear everyone on al sides ncluding those above you. We could not wait to leave.
