Best Western Downtown Vancouver

not impressed

The reviews I read led me to believe this was a great location. It is locatted next to the bridges that go to grandville island..so it was very difficult to access the hotel. There were 4 countable homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk during the day within 1/2 block of the front door of the hotel. In the morning I looked out the window to check the weather to find a gentleman in the window of the hotel across the street "all natural". Window wide open and sharing his birthday suit with the rest of us. The room was also extremely small...but clean.

OUTSTANDING HOTEL!

This hotel was absolutely great! The location was great, surrounding area has a lot to offer. The actual hotel and room was very very nice! Especially for the price! I would definitely suggest this hotel to others who plan on staying in Vancouver!

I would recommend this place. near downtown and lots of good places to eat and have fun!

Nice Hotel

All in all the hotel was very nice, the day staff were very helpful and efficient. One night, however, we returned late and on our way up to our room, a night staff gave us a funny look from the desk. After we had passed her, she leaned over the desk and rudely questioned what room we belonged in. Shortly after we answered another couple walked in and were barely noticed as they walked past the desk without question. We were a bit upset at the time, but other then that incident, we enjoyed our time at the hotel.

Great value, outstanding quality

Visited Downtown Vancouver for 4 days and the hotel was simply great. It was clean, staff was very friendly, very polite, the room was very clean and although a bit on the small side it wasn't small enough that it was uncomfortable. I was very pleased and happy with the overall quality of the hotel.

Very Friendly Staff

I spent 2 nights at this Best Western and I was very satisfied with what I got. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with a nice view of the surrounding area. There are many shops, cafes and night clubs nearby. The hotel also offers free shuttle. It really exceeded my expectations.
