Great hotel!!!

This hotel is in a great condition. It's clean and neat. The gym and laundry rooms are on the top floor. If you depends on public transportation, it is a right choice for you because bus stops are just down the street on Howe or Granville. The only downside is that there are some homeless people hanging out outside the 7-Eleven that is located kinda across from the hotel. It is not too bad in my opinion because they just stand there but don't bother you at all.

Great for the money

Our hotel room was very spacious, clean and the bed/pillows were extremely comfortable. Though it was very conveniently located, the neighborhood left something to be desired. Lots of road construction during our stay was really inconvenient and at times we couldn't easily access the parking structure.

Nice hotel with friendly & helpful staff

The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean & a comfortable size. I would not recommend walking after dark in the area around the hotel, but otherwise was very satisfied with my stay.

Seattle Family Impressed

We're a family of four that recently stayed at the Best Western, Downtown. We didn't know what to expect because we had a negative experience a few years ago in another Best Western hotel in California. We decided to try this out because of the good reviews. We were impressed. The lobby was very clean and well kept. The customer service was pleasant and welcoming. Our room with 2 double beds felt very comfortable and we especially enjoyed having a small kitchen available to us. Even though we were only there for 2 nights, we certainly enjoyed the stay. The only complaints we had were that our beds were a bit uncomfortable and the neighborhood was not very family-friendly. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others. We also enjoyed the hotel restaurant -- good food and reasonable prices. We will certainly be back!

Disappoinint

First, there was nowhere to park for check-in. We parked in a spot with a sign marked 10-min checkin and soon got a complaint from the hotels van driver that he would like for us to move. This was after we tried to circle the building only to find ourselves on the Granville St bridge headed south. Second, there was a very smelly street person crashed on the sofa 20 feet in front of the hotel desk and within 3 feet of the free Internet computer. In fact he got up at one point and asked a question of the staff before laying down again. Very odd tollerance considering the stinch. Third, there was a lack of signage and clarity as to how to get to and from your car in the garage. The hallways was like unmarked underground tunnels. Fourth, for the money, just too cramped in the rooms and hallways!

Superior hotel

Hotel is very clean and room was comfortable. Guest amenities are excellent. White Stop restaurant was very good and prices fair. Front desk staff were great.
