Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 10Good hotel, not great location
Very nice room, hotel is fine, easy to find and has secured underground parking. (A must for Vancouver) The area isn't the best though, Granville Street is mainly bars for the 18-15 generation and there was a lot of homeless around. My biggest concern though was that the hotel charged my card for the full amount even though I had paid in full. They did rectify thisonce I discovered it, but I was led to believe that it was a common mistake. Not good for anyone travelling on a budget.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 10TOSS UP
The specific room was not in bad condition, but between the construction outside, loud party, small room size and constant renovations in parking garage, I would stay here again mostly however out of necessity and proximity to where my destination was.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 10Hockey Game
We came to Vancouver for two nights to watch a Canucks game and by chance had a really nice hotel stay to go along with it! The room was much nicer than I expected with one of the most comfortable hotel beds that I have ever slept in. I am not the most experienced hotelier, I have stayed in my fair share and this one was top notch. I will stay there again on my next trip to Vancouver.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 10Very Friendly & Helpful staff but old towels
I was very impressed with how helpful the staff were. We arrived early after getting into port from a cruise. They did not have any clean rooms yet , but offered to take our bags and store them. Agnes then gave us a wealth of information about how to go about doing a bus tour of the city. Phil (I think was his name) put our bags up and then let us access them again when we decided to change shoes. That evening when we returned Corina (again, the name could be a little off) helped us book a tour to Victoria the next morning. When we returned from Victoria and had dinner in the White Spot Restaurant on site we again met with Corina about arranging a cab for the next morning as our flight was early. We mentioned that we wanted to get to the airport early and allow enough time for customs. When we returned to our room, John called us and told us that he had called the airport for us and they suggested we get there 3 hours prior to our flight. We felt that in all of these instances that staff took the initiative to go above and beyond what others might do. This made us feel like we were not just another guest. They even let us use a scale to weigh our luggage. The only complaint I would register is that the towels were a bit overused. One of them actually had a hole in it. They just did not live up to the standard of everything else about the hotel.
