Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 19Can I take the bed home!
The bed is little laying on cotton. During the summer the pool is open but not spring/fall so make reservations for summer. Oh also, the pool is on the roof which is awesome!

The hotel is clean and well kept. The staff in the lounge provided excellent service.

Carpet on inside front steps appears frayed in a number of spots (usually on the edge of a step).

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 19Nice Hotel but not all that
For the most part this is a nice hotel. The only down fall was waking up to notice there was blood on the sheets and I wasn't bleeding! (luckily I didn't sleep on that side) and there was something "brown" on the same side of the sheets. Not a pleasant feeling. I kind of expected more from a "Hilton" why I have no clue!! The coffee in the room was not good (not a huge deal). They also fail to mention that there is a $35 additional valet fee for their "valet only" parking hmmm and no one tells you this until the next day when your card has been charged and you have already tipped the valet additional. Sorry I can park my own car! The staff at the hotel was extrememly friendly and inviting. Loved the MP3 alarm clock in the room (crazy but thats a bonus). Over all I would say stay here if you are desperate. If not there are other hotels within walking distance that are just as nice and cheaper. In my opinion, I want the most out of my money not waste it on a "name"

Location and hotel is great. a block away from public transit(Dupont Circle metro) and near the eateries, coffee shop and restaurants on Connecticut Ave.Few metro stations away from downtown and National Mall and two station away from Zoo.Great service (asked to change room due to feeling smoke and were moved right away). smoking rooms on floor 7. Can leave luggage in the claim area. very comfortable king bed. Free internet on floor 1.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 19Good room for the money
Nice Location, close to restaurants, embasys, good shopping, park. but had a little trouble with the bed selection. After insisting that we had booked the 2 beds, the next night we were accommodated.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 19Great Location!
First of all, I was amazed that a Hilton had one of the best rates in DC, and I was also a little skeptical. When we got to the room, it was on the small side, but very nice and clean. The location (near Dupont Circle and the Metro Red Line) was what chose me to pick it for my overnight stay, and it far exceeded my expectations.

Great place to stay. close to metro and bus stations. only a few minutes to the government monuments and 3 bus stops away from georgetown. beautifull neighborhood. the hotel was clean and the staff for the most part was very helpful.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 19check in and room
Check in was good, the room they gave didn't have a closet in it, strange, uh!, moved to another room even better, but the respond from the front desk, informed me they were remodeling the room, well then why was I given a room that wasn't complete?. The restuarant in the basement setting nice, but hard boiled eggs were over cooked, and french toast were cold even in the warmers......., I wasn't not the only guest that I talked to felt the same way.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 19excellent service in cookie-cutter hotel
Stayed here over a busy tourist weekend. The first room they put me in turned out not to have any a/c. When I attempted to call downstairs, I discovered that there was no cord on the phone. But upon going downstairs to the desk, I was immediately given another room with no hassle. NOTE: some rooms in the hotel face inwards overlooking an airshaft; make sure you get one facing the outside world...

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 19Not good
The first problematiciss issue I had was waiting and then finally giving up on the elevator. It was not so bad the first time but after a day of walking, the fourth floor by stairs is dreadfull. At 2:00am there were kids and adults running and screaming down the hallway. I had quite some dificulty understanding the english spoken by most of the staff.
