Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 15Good room for the price..thanks to Hotel.com
Room and service was very good. Very helpful with directions. Room neat and clean.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 15Good hotel, good value, bad location (for me)
This is a perfectly good hotel, and the Hotels.com price was very reasonable. However, for a convention at the Toronto Convention Center, it is too far away. As a result, you have to take the subway or a taxi downtown every day. If you don't mind a little inconvenience, it can save you money.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 15Nice
Nice but not great. The room was kind of clean but not perfect. Typical for a much cheaper hotel. I'm not a complainer but know some who would be put off by some of the stuff. Good location. Would stay again.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 15Great room; just don't order breakfast!
The room was very comfortable, the flat-screen television was nice (though I didn't watch much television during my five-day stay), and the shower pressure was substantial (I like a shower with strong pressure). The only negatives I have about it are that the toilet sinks forward a bit when you sit on it (the floor underneath needs to be leveled out) and the insane price of breakfast (including the room service fee, about $35 Canadian). Skip the breakfast in the hotel and take the 15-minute walk down Bay Street (toward downtown) and there's an awesome breakfast place about a block up from the bus station (and nearby Eaton Centre).

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 15Great Traditional Hotel
Very nice accomodations...we travel to Toronto on business and always stay here. Location is excellent. Rooms are very clean and spacious enough. Great value.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 15Outstanding Hotel
Ideally located to Yonge Street, the Downtown area and to the subway this hotel is worthy to be considered by potential guests as one of the better hotels to stay at. Clean, comfortable, well maitained with friendly staff members, I will definitely consider staying here again and will recommend this hotel to my colleagues and friends who travel to Toronto. The only downside was that the internet fee was additional - for those of us who travel on business, internet access is a "must" and should, I think, be included in the room amenities.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 15Great hotel, be careful of extras
The Sutton Place Hotel is a first-class hostelry very centrally located. It's within walking distance to the Royal Ontario Museum, Bata Shoe Museum, Gardiner Ceramic Museum and the university. Steps from public transportation and the swanky Yorkville shopping and art gallery district. One caveat, things like the $16.50 per day for wi-fi service reduces the good deal you might get from hotels.com. If you're comfortable without that service, stay there without reservation (no pun intended).

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 15great
For the low rate, I was expecting something rather down-scale but this place was really nice, comparable to Marriott or Sheraton (just without the brand name). Very big room.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 15Needs Improvement
The cleaning staff on the last day came to the room four different times between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to see if I had checked out. Even though check-out time was noon, I checked out early. On the other days the maid service was very good. The doorman and bellhop in the lobby watched as I struggled to get my luggage to my automobile. The valet parking was helpful and courteous.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 15A little odd
I really enjoyed my stay at the Sutton Place. My room was really large and comfortable, and it even had a balcony. The location is convenient to so much. But, I found some things strange -- particularly the furniture. It was all relatively new and in good condition, but it looked like furniture you'd find in the 1970s. If you like white marble, you'll love the room decor! In spite of the strange room decor, the hotel was really comfortable, convenient, and a good price. I'd definitely stay there again.
