Marriott Courtyard Atlantic City

New, very clean and modern

Nice modern hotel (<3 yrs old), especially given the age and condition of the other casino hotels in AC. Drawbacks: You do have to pay for parking and the surrounding area is okay but only a couple of blocks from the famed AC boardwalk. I was there for business and it was a good value. Would definitely stay there again.

It was alright!

I expected more then what it was, the hotel was good but not for me.

Comfortable, clean, close

I liked everything about it, didn't have any problems. I didn't like that I had to wait for the elevators every time when I would have gladly taken the stairs had they been available for use to go up to my room. That's a function of the hotel design. The staff was courteous and I was able to secure a cart to transport my luggage. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

Good Hotel

Hotel itself was very clean and well kept. the parking fee was a little much in that most of the competition charges as little as $5 per day.

good value

The staff was very cooperative. When I was late for tshe breakfast buffet they offered to make fresh food. It is right across from a jitney stop so for $2.25 u can get anywhere and avoid a $12 cab fare. I'll stay there next yr.

Good Experience

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and service of the hotel and its staff. Everyone was very courteous, helpful,and friendly. It is only a block from the boardwalk which is a plus. The hotel breakfast was a nice surprise also. Considering prices charged in other hotels for menu breakfasts, the price of $10.95/person for eggs to order (including omelettes made on the spot) and a host of other choices made it a real bargain. We would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel...but don't drink the coffee in your room

When I opened the coffee pot to pour in the water for fresh coffee, there was leftover water...or some sort of liquid in there. It had a terrible smell. I'm not sure how long it had been in there, or what it was, but surely, housekeeping had not attended to the coffee pot for quite some time.

Excellent Quality

I stayed at the Courtyard Marriot for two nights during the bar examination, and I must say the service was fantastic! The room was extremely clean, and the hotel staff were extremely accomodating and friendly. As for location, the hotel is ideal for anyone who wants to be near the boardwalk in Atlantic City, but at the same time not in the midst of the casinos. It's approximately 10 blocks from the main casino attractions. Depending on weather conditions, you can either walk to the casinos or take a jitney. Overall, I would definitely stay at the Courtyard again during another trip to Atlantic City, and it is definitely worth the money.
