Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 1 of 37Very nice hotel room.
This service was great, although we did not like how it took until 5p.m. the next day for them to clean our room and that was with us asking. we were also put on the first floor. I would high recommend making sure you are put on a higher floor. Overall we loved everything else about the hotel. Everything was in close walking distance and we walked over for food and shopping.

This is one of the loveliest, most elegant hotels you will find. Beautifully decorated and immaculate.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 37Raphael Hotel
Raphael Hotel is a Charming hotel. Great hotel for people above its 50 years, nice European decor, great location, charming entrance. But if you are young or have young siblings staying with you, there aren't amenities such as pool, gym or even a jacuzzi, and the elevator is old and slow, you will feel like that you are staying in a hotel from different era, wich could be a good thing, special if you are a nostalig .

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 37Wonderful Stay
We visited our son for a long weekend and he suggested the Hotel Raphael. We were very pleased with every aspect of our stay. We used the gym each day across the street and the hotel bellman would give us bottles of water before we left. The bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept on, the bathroom, however was quite small....that is truly the only negative comment. The hotel is walking distance to Country Club Plaza, which was a definite plus.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 11 of 37Outstanding hotel
The hotel had charm, character, and was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were bigger than anticipated and had all of the conveniences of a larger hotel. There was free wi-fi access, complimentary desserts, and a very warm and friendly staff. The hotel is convenient to any of the major downtown KC attractions, and right in the middle of the world-famous Country Club Plaza. We plan to make the Raphael our first choice for hotel stay in the area. :)

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 12 of 37Perfect Weekend
Our weekend stay at the Raphael Hotel was fantastic. Our suite had views of Brush Creek and the Country Club Plaza. You can't beat the location as the CCP is in walking distance and the Nelson-Atkins is a two-minute drive away. The location is also an easy jumping off point if you are headed to Union Station, Crowne Plaza, 18th and Vine or downtown KC. This hotel is geared more toward adult guests - no on-site pool - but other family oriented hotels are nearby. Overall the experience was exquisite and I can recommend a stay at the Raphael Hotel.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 37Fantastic
The hotel itself was so perfectly located, we walked across the street to the plaza. The staff was so friendly and helpful, thanks Rocky, Brad, William you always went out of your way to help. The maid service was great too, a beautiful room every time I returned and even hot chocolate and cookies sitting out for us. The suite was gorgeous and the bed, so comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to KC, I know I will stay here again.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 37Excellent Stay in the Plaza
We were in Kansas City to pick up a new car and decided to stay at the Raphael due to a coworker's reccommendation. It was everything she said and more. The service was exceptional-including offering the loan of an umbrella when the weather looked like rain. We had a suite which gave us a great sitting area and fridge for our leftovers. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the shower was really good. Reminder for everone this is an older hotel so the rooms are on the small side but the uniqueness, comfort and service make this hotel a real winner! We'll be back.
