Outstandeing Hotel

Our room was very nice, clean and updated. The hotel staff was very accomodating and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

Great value

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every one of them. From the friendly and courteous staff to the unique courtyard pool, this is a nice hotel. We appreciated the hot continental breakfast and the shopping nearby. There is a neighborhood feel to the area. We'll definitely stay here on any return trip to KC.

Soft bed

Very quiet and clean hotel. The only thing we didn't like was the bed was way too soft. Everything else was great!

Awesome place for the money

The complimentary breakfast was OUTSTANDING! I was extremely impressed with this hotel and the service was excellent. It is a great place to take your children. Pool and spa were very nice and the grounds were well maintained.

Great Hotel for Family

Hotel was awesome! We stayed 4 nights and were treated well. The only complaint would be the water pressure in the shower the last 2 mornings we were there, it was really low. Otherwise we had a very enjoyable time in the pool and had a great experience.

Great place to stay for the money.

The room was very clean and well supplied. I would definitely recommend this hotel for travelers.

Good location, good breakfast, smelly room

The hotel is in an excellent location near shopping, dining, and highway. It was easy to find, the staff was very nice, the breakfast was pretty good, although would have liked more hot food options. The room was nice sized, bed very soft which my husband liked but I didnt. The room reeked of mildew smell, which you got used to after about 2 minutes, but had to smell everytime you walked in. There was mold growing on the bottom of the shower curtain, otherwise clean, well supplied. Would recommend for price, if wasn't for the mildew smell, would have been really great!

Great stay for the money

From the moment we checked in our stay was outstanding. The receptionist was outstanding, in fact we needed a bottle opener,the hotel didn't have one and the receptionist brought on in from home the next day. Our room was very clean and comfortable; we were on the bottom floor and we had an outside patio with table and chairs, we enjoyed a few outdoor sandwiches with a cool beer. Our room had a small refrigerator and a microwave. The breakfast was great, different items each day. We will always stay in a La Quinta in the future.

Nice and quiet hotel

I was very pleased with my recent stay at La Quinta in Overland Park. It is conveniently located to many attractions in the KC area, and yet it is tucked away in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The room was pleasant and spacious with all the amenities I desired, such as the refrigerator, microwave, and hair dryer. Beds were softer and more comfortable than any hotel beds I'd slept on before. There was ample room to maneuver in the bathroom. Shower was easy enough to use and water stayed warm. Breakfast options were good. In addition to fresh fruit was bagels, bread, muffins, yogurt, cereal, and waffles (make your own). Hot items alternated between biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs and sausage during our stay. Milk, coffee, orange juice and apple juice were available to drink. Outside, the pool area was very nice. Lots of shade trees in addition to the umbrella shades. Water was still pretty cool, being early June. I did notice one small tile missing in the pool. Overall, my family and I were very satisfied with our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
