Great room for the Price

This is the second time i have stayed at this hotel and both times I left satisfied. Staff is friendly, there is a computer with internet access for patron use, and the the breakfast included muffins toast, cereal juice, coffee, etc. The standard room had a refrigerator and other standard accommodations, noise level was okay and the air wroked very well. It is a nice room for a good price.

Served my purposes

The room had a refrigerator, a clock radio, hair dryer, coffee pot and a huge King bed. I was very comfortable while staying there. The continental breakfast was a little on the small side, but I still had a satisfying breakfast. Denny's is right next door and there's a Long John Silver's down the road.

Shabby & Outdated

The carpet was quite old as was the furnishings. When I went to the bathroom and flipped on the light, the over-head fan made such a loud rumbling noise that I had to turn it off and take a shower in the dark. The room had a musty smell to it and the beds were hard. Lucky for me, I only had to stay one night. If you are looking for a quick stay @ a low price, stay here. But if you want luxury, keep looking. I know I will.

nasty

this hotel is a joke. the room smelled really bad the ice machine did not work. the carpet had stains on it. the tub was nasty i had to buy a mat to stand on.. the tv remote did not work the lock on the door was ripped off and replace with a chain lock.. the air conditioner made loud noise in the middle of the night... i will not be staying there again i dont care if the room is free... please dont let the cheap price of this hotel convince you to book with them...the manager kept lying about fixing the air, door and ice machine which never happen.. please please run...

Needs Improvement

When we first came to the room it was supposed to be a non smoking room but the room smelled like smoke. We had to spray the carpet and bed down with Febreze in order to get the odor out of the room. We also had to buy an air freshner in order to have a pleasant smell in the air. The bathtub had a stain and did not have a mat. We had to buy a mat so that we would have something to stand on. While sleeping, the air conditioner was making this annoying sound that woke us up. I had to get up and turn the air conditioner off so that we could sleep. The room did not have a clock or even the standard bible in the top drawer by the bed. We asked one of the attendants at the front desk for a towel and handed us only one. We told him that we needed another one and he stated that we must turn the towels in to the person that cleans the room. We wandered why would we want to take anything from this hotel. The statement is true, you get what you pay for and that is how we feel after leaving this hotel. We will not being staying at this room again. the ice machine doesnt work we were lied to that it would be fixed but were still waiting for that to happen..RUN RUN RUN

needs improvements

the motel had a crack in the toilet it was leaking on the floor,the bed was hard,the air conditioner was loud,it kept it cool but loud.kids were up till 11:00 pm or later hardly slept. you can hear them through the walls.dirt was in the ice machine couldn't get ice for our drinks.the secondary lock on the door was busted.

Needs Improvement...

I stayed at the Americas Inn in Houston the 8201 SW Freeway location, and I wasn't impressed. Our room was dirty and infested with ants. My husband and I stayed 2 nights Friday and Saturday night leaving Sunday. Saturday morning the maid walked in the room at 9:30 am, waking us up, And again Sunday morning the maid came in at 9:00 am waking us up, we told her we were sleeping and she came back 30 minutes later and again walked in on us.. Check out isn't untill noon but my husband and I felt like we were being rushed out because the maid kept coming back.
