Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 42Great room for the money
The price was low (for Houston), and the hotel was fine. No bells and whistles, but none were expected. My room was a little dated but very clean. Even though there was parking outside my door, the room was quiet, cool, and clean. Would happily stay there again if in town on business. Perhaps not too good for those traveling with kids (unimpressive breakfast and facilities), but I booked it knowing what kind of hotel it was. And I was pleasantly surprised.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 42OK for one night only
We were only there for one night, and it was OK, although some of the TV channels didn't work (including one of the HBO networks) or had a bad signal. The breakfast options were rather limited, and there was a very small seating area. The receptionist was nice, though. There was a dead cockroach in the bathroom.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 42Clean hotel, lousy breakfast
The room was very clean, although the carpet was old and worn, but that was expected for the price I paid. The pool was also clean. The hotel description said that a microwave and refrigerator are available upon request; well, although I was able to procure a room with a refrigerator, there were no microwaves available, not just at the time, but not at all (that is what I was told at reception). The continental breakfast was the lousiest I have ever seen: mini muffins and bananas one morning, and only mini muffins the next. Overall, it is not a bad place to spend a night or two for the price, but be prepared to spend a few extra $ for a restaurant breakfast.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 42Good Room
When I saw the bad review, i thought that I would be in for a shocker. The room was fine for the price and the people were helpful. I told the clerk that I needed a room that was accessible for my walker and they complied.

I've stayed in hotels all over the world. This so called hotel is the absolute worst place I've ever stayed.

Overall quality of the motel is higher than others in the same price range. Desk clerk was cordial, Dennys restaurant next door, clean room, a/c worked fine. Only complaint is that ice maker didn't work. Motel is hard to see from the feeder road so look for Dennys and turn in just before.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 42Good for one night stay with minimum hours spent
If you have to just have a room to spend one night with much of the day doing other errands around Houston, this is the place. It looks clean and the rooms are clean. However, the smell in the room is constant and gave me a headache like mold. But atleast it superficially looks clean. I would highly recommend taking febreze with you.

The directions on every website for the hotel were not good. Some of the hotel staff was very helpful, others were not. The complimentary breakfast had bread, muffins, and green bananas that you can't take back with you in the room. The first night I stayed there I had left for 3-4 hours, when I returned they were "remodeling" and painted the door to my room. So with wet paint I put the key in and opened the wet door. When I called the hotel staff they said they were remodeling and painting all of the doors, not true ours was the only one. I read the reviews before I decided to stay here and I should have gone with my first reaction, spend the extra $10 for more saftey and comfort
