Not so friendly employees

No shampoo in the bathroom. Pool was closed. Employees were not welcoming. I had higher expectations from Courtyard hotels.

Great location, price, and excellent staff

Only stayed two nights, prior to a cruise. Everything was excellent,from the room, to the ease of check in and out. We plan on staying there next year, in January, prior to our next cruise. Great location, central to all types of services, would reccomend.

Great Hotel

Great Hotel but need your own transportation to enjoy the area. We stayed there for one night after a cruise. We chose this place for the consistency of Marriott. However, there are no restaraunts within walking distance and when we tried to get a cab to one of the nearby restaraunts the cab never showed up at the hotel. Had no trouble getting a $35 cab ride to the airport the next morning however. Great hotel if you have business in the area or are trying to just hang out and enjoy Fort Lauderdale. The grounds are small but well maintained with a tropical theme. The pool was great with a shaded gazebo off to the side. The staff was extremely accomodating and we were even able to check in very early after arriving in port from our cruise.
