The room decor is straight out of the 80's and in need of a modernization makeover. If you like old 27" TV's, and worn furniture makes you feel at home, then this is the place for you. The staff were great (for the most part) friendly and helpful, but the room decor and pool area were a disappointment to say the least. We will not return unless we are looking for a 3star room at 5star prices.

The entire Hotel is fantastic-from the bell-staff to the work-out facility, the bar, restaurants, pool area and proximity to the " city".

Better than expected. There were no unexpected fees upon checking out.

The mansion is like your favorite bar, everyone knows your name! The valets, the bartenders, the maids...the entire experience leaves nothing to be desired, except maybe a beach or some ski slopes! Try their Expresso Martini, its quite good!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 7Love the Experience, but......
The room was somewhat dark, the room smells musty upon first entrance, and the bathroom has a little mold on the outside of the tub enclosure. Otherwise, the service was perfect and we loved our day/evening at the pool.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 7Mansion - An Aging Beauty
My girlfriend and I had a girls' weekend "in" at the Mansion last week, and it was great. Our room was a ground floor room which opened out onto the pool, which was very convenient. The pool is not large, but it's in scale with the entire property and was very enjoyable. Our room was perfect and spotless; my only comment would be that it looked as if they bathroom could use just a bit of updating, i.e.grout redone, etc. But this is really putting too fine a point on it, because overall it was fabulous. Our meal Friday night was really expensive, and the restaurant was closed for renovation, so our $220 meal was served in the Promenade, or breakfast area, which was fine but seemed a bit casual for that pricetag. We'd definitely recommend the Mansion to anyone, and we'll return as soon as we can. Hotels.com also got us a great room rate, by the way.
