Great Place- Needs updating

The hotel staff was perfect. The room was very nice. We did notice that some repairs were needed in our room. The shower caulking was really bad, and the baseboards had started being repaired but never finished. Overall the stay was great.

Wonderful hospitality

Beautiful hotel. Wonderful helpful staff. Great concierge (all of them). Helped us get a painting that we bought impulsively at an estate sale shipped back to Austin. Greeted with great iced tea and ginger cake. Morning coffee, evening hot spiced cider. Comfortable bed. Great shopping/arts location. Shuttle service.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!

The minute we walked through the hotel entrance,we were offered Texas cactus shaped cookies and lattes. Everyone was smiling and very friendly from the valet to the doorman to the receptionist. About an hour later we received a courtesy room service, which included a peach tart and ice tea. Later that evening, the maid came in to turn down our bed linens. It was almost like she was remaking and recleaning the whole room. The bedspread and pillow cases where stripped, the ice bucket was refilled, the trash emptied and new towels were put in our bathroom. The place is TOP RATE in Service and comfort.

Very Charming and a Great Getaway

First time to stay here, but I couldn't have been happier with the hotel. The staff is amazing and will do anything they can to help you or make your stay better. The hotel itself is beautiful and is in a nice neighborhood. The price through hotels.com was unbeatable and I will definitely be using this website again! It made my vacation even more amazing!

Excellent Hotel

Great property, amazing service, beautiful room. Only minor disappointment was the television. Was not expecting a 27" tube tv in a 5-star hotel.

Good but needs a facelift

Service was very good -- best I experienced in the US Food good but drinks exorbitant ($30 for a glass of champagne!!) Bed was great -- bathroom a little tired Overall good but needs a facelift

Outstanding Hotel

This hotel is quite outstanding. The level of service from the moment you pull-up at the hotel is exceptional. Nothing proved too difficult for any of the employees we encountered and they all went above and beyond to provide a memorable overall experience. I strongly recommend dining at the restaurant as the food and ambience just adds to the overall experience provided by this establishment. Also, for excellent advice on where to dine in Dallas, seek the knowledge of the concierge staff and they will be more than happy to assist.
