Nice hotel... Horrible mix-up

The hotel itself was very nice. The staff was very friendly and attentive. And it was very relaxing by the pool side. However, there was a mix-up with my reservation. There were 4 people staying in the room. I reserved a room with two beds but when i got there they said they only had single bed suites available. Needless to say, I was very upset. There should not be mix ups like this with the amount of money I was paying. Nice hotel, bad experience.

Outstanding Hotel

We couldn't have enjoyed our stay anymore than we did! It was such a beautiful hotel with an amazing staff. I will definitely stay here the next time I come to Palm Springs.

cute place

The grounds of the hotel were very nice, nicer than we expected. My only complaints are that there was no dresser for clothes(in the jr king sized room). Or couch. There was one chair. This was one of the smaller rooms but it wasnt that cheap so I would have hoped for somewhere to put clothes. However there was a fully stocked bar complete with martini glass, wine and champagne glasses. I asked for a roll away bed to be put in the room for an extra guest on our last night and it was forgotten when we got there late at night. Other than that the place was really cute and the pool was very nice.

Adorable!

The Colony Palms Hotel is a little gem. Grounds are beautiful, the pool and surrounding courtyard was a great combination of funky and relaxing and the room was very comfortable (the bed was terrific!) On the negatives, the staff seemed a little stretched as it didn't seem there were dedicated front desk associates. TV was a little on the small side. I would absolutely stay there again when I return to Palm Springs.

Fabulous

This hotel and restaurant was fabulous. The service was great - the pool area is divine and the room was elegant but very comfy. We plan to return!

Outstanding hotel

Very nice location close to shopping downtown Palm Springs. The Purple Palm Restaurant is outstanding! Great atmosphere, not terribly "pricey". Would come back to stay here.

Great room for the money

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. I usually stay at the other high end hotels in the area but decided to give this hotel a try. The rooms were on the small side but beautiful and very comfortable! The resturant within the hotel was outstanding and the service was first rate. Only complaint was valet....not well organized. All in all I would definately book this again.
