Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 30Hotel great, restaurant bad
The hotel was lovely and great location. Only thing that did not meet expectation at all is the food and the restaurant. Very mediocer for such a hotel.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 30Needs improvement
Some areas of the hotel were in need of a good cleaning. Breakfast was a joke. Room was reasonably clean.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 30Great setting- fantastic location
This is a charming boutique hotel- walk to downtown Palm Springs- beautiful setting and pool area- rooms are nice- not fancy but good detail- housekeeping leaves a bit to be desired but other than that- a terrific place- very relaxing and a good value!

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 5 of 30Lovely Grounds
The hotel grounds are lush and beautiful with lots of trees, plants, and water features, very relaxing. The pool was good-sized for the size of the hotel, but the pool water was actually too warm. The music around the pool was much too loud, we found it difficult to relax and read a book due to this-it's nice to just have some peace and quiet. We paid for an upgrade to a casita with a private patio and outdoor tub, which was nice, but the tub jets worked very poorly, and the patio area was covered in dust and leaves. Our feet were always dirty because we tracked the dirt in from the patio into our room. It really is a very nice place, but a bit more attention to detail would be good. The staff were great, very friendly and attentive, although it was hard to get served by the pool.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 30Very nice, calm, perfect for relaxing,
Great place for a get away and relaxation, love the 24hour open pool and spa, the best music I have ever heard playing outdoors. It will take your mind off your problems. All things considered, very nice. The airconditioning can improve, rooms are smaller than average

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 7 of 30Perfect Palm Springs Getaway
This is a magical oasis right in the heart of bustling Palm Springs, yet somehow it is still peaceful beyond the gates of the front desk. Dine in the exquisite Purple Palm share your wine with their very knowledgeable sommelier, swim past midnight and enjoy the serenity and comfort of your room. The beds are what dreams are made of. I have stayed at the Colony Palm approximately 10 times now since they opened - I couldn't imagine staying any where else. It is the perfect home away from Los Angeles. Close to all the shopping and restaurants. And a super friendly staff of concierge!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 30Love, love, love it. Did I mention I loved it?
Normally going to music fests involves a bunch of money for travel and the show, and only a little left over for a hotel, allowing for the cheapest, most bare of accommodations. The Colony is not that. It's fabulous. The room we had was fabulous (fireplace! shower the size of a walk-in closet!). The staff was outstanding. And, as an added bonus, it was one block away from an amazing breakfast place called Cheeky's (order the eggs benedict to start). I travel extensively, and coming across an under the radar place such as the Colony is like striking gold. My only regret is that we spent so much time at Coachella that we didn't spend more time at the hotel pool and bar. Everyone we passed as we came home to our room was enjoying the place tremendously. I'm booking my room for next year right now.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 30hidden gem
What a surprise! The pool area is an oasis, with lush landscaping, peaceful music playing from speakers hidden everywhere, and quiet secluded areas to sit and enjoy the atmosphere that this hotel has in abundance! The rooms are stylish and well appointed. We will be coming back to stay at the Colony Palms Hotel soon.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 15 of 30Very nice hotel
The Colony Palms is a very small and private hotel. It was recently renovated. The bathroom is roomy but the bedroom has room only has room for a chair and the king bed. It is hard to use the dresser because the chair is right next to it with nowhere to go. The bed and bedding is very comfortable. We were very careful and brought bedding for our dog, but we had a sizeable non refundable fee for a small pet. Otherwise, our stay was very pleasant.
