Colony Palms Hotel

Wonderful retreat

Felt like going back in time to the days the Rat Pack were in Palm Springs. Staff was wonderful..it's an easy walk to the shops and restaurants on Palm Canyon. The restaurant/bar is a great find even if not staying at the hotel. Very private and special spot.

Excellent value

Very nicely decorated rooms, comfortable beds and excellent outdoor areas. I had a quiet relaxing weekend while doing work in Palm Springs. I especially enjoyed the restaurant and pool atmosphere. Great food and cool electronic chill music while lounging at the pool. The hotel staff was very helpful during my stay. I am definately going back for another long weekend.

Excellent hotel! Highly recommended!

From the moment me & my sister arrived, we were greeted with friendly staff. As soon as we walked in the door, the tv was set to soft, jazzy music to welcome us in the room. So nice! I've never seen that before. The room was super clean and even better than I expected. The pictures don't do it justice. It has a nice bar with alcohol and treats, though they were a little pricey, but what do you expect? The bed was very comfy and luxurious. The bathroom was Spanish style and very cool with a large shower. The grounds of the hotel are very well maintained and relaxing. This is going to be my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Palm Springs. I found my home!

Beautiful Hotel

Lovely hotel - the breakfast is the only thing that could use improvement. $12 for continental breakfast with nothing but crousants and diced watermelon

Cool Hotel - Really Great Place to Stay

My husband and I spent two nights at the Colony Palms Hotel and loved it! The room and pool side décor is really cool and the beds are very comfortable. The pool side bar and restaurant is a fun place to hang out. The service was so/so but it seems they are just getting things going since re-opening after the big remodel. My only real complaint is that there is no in-room coffee and the continental breakfast does not serve coffee early enough. Otherwise, we really liked our stay at this hotel and considered it a real find. We will be back!

Needs improvement

Great property and comfortable room. Nice poolside restaurant, as well. Customer service was...at best, lacking. The staff was pleasant, but quite unconcerned with actually following up; requests for information were met with a "we'll call your room" and then no call. I suppose this is what would be considered a "laid back" approach. Would recommend the property and facilities, including the restaurant, but would recommend anyone considering the hotel be aware that they're not going to get 4 or even 3 star service.
