Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 51More than devent enough for a traveller
It beat staying at a hostel, very comfortable and the price was very fair. The distance from the strip is about a 15 minute walk, though i wouldn't like to do it wearing heels. x

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 51Great hotel for a Great Price
The customer service at the hotel was amazing. They were very friendly and easy to get along with. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I would definately stay at the wild Wild West Gambling Hall and Hotel because it was in a great location, easy to find, and there were plenty of food options that we were able to walk to from this hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 51OK for the price; I just don't like surprises
I recommend the hotel to those who are on a tight budget. The staff was friendly enough; however, I requested a room with a small fridge because I am diabetic and needed to refridgerate my insulin-there were none. There was no coffee pot and nowhere to get coffee on the hotel grounds and there was no microwave or anywhere to heat up food. There was also a surprise fee of $5.65 per day for "hotel services" which is tacked on to your final bill. I'm OK if I know this is a part of the practice beforehand so that I could make a decision before I book.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 51Tiny but affordable
The Wild Wild West room was tiny and just had enough space for the two double-sized beds. The weekend rates were the lowest compared to the otherhotels on/near the strip. I didn't plan to stay inside the hotel for any length of time so the small size of the room was not an inconvenience. Just realize that it's a place to store your things and get some sleep and not a place to hang out.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 51Cheap room near strip
Walking distance to the strip for a cheap price. If you're on a budget and can stand an old hotel and a run-down room, this will work.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 51Adequate motel, great little casino
The hotel is kind of rough looking on the outside, but the rooms have been freshly painted inside. They were small but adequate. The desk staff could have been a little more outgoing but the services was once again adequate. The dealers at the casino were always a pleasure and were probably the best part of the place. The Denny's located on the property was good on day 1 of our trip and horrible on day 2.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 51Great location, better than expected for the price
If you are looking for a place to sleep in vegas, price and location make this place unbeatable. The staff was helpful, but it is understaffed, so it can take a little longer than at some of the larger chain hotels. For example, I needed a phone number for a local restaurant that wasn't in the phone book. I called the desk, and they told me they had a couple of people in front of them, so it would be a few minutes. It took them about 10 minutes, but they did call back with directions and a phone number. The room was very small, but clean. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your hotel, this is probably not the place for you. It has a truck stop feel to it, and the casino on site is filled with some pretty shady looking characters, but we always felt safe on location. I even felt safe enough to make the trip to the strip on foot. I wouldn't recommend it if you are traveling with children, but if you are not a "spoiled" traveler, and you aren't looking for a lot of extra amenities, this place can't be beat.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 51Great room for the money
The weekend that I stayed at the Wild Wild West Gambling Hall and Hotel, I attended the Rockabilly Weekend- Viva Las Vegas at the Orleans Hotel and Casino. It was a perfect room to come to, change our outfits, and sleep. Our stay was excellent for the money.
