Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 27Quality all around
Every aspect of this hotel was excellant. The service was outstanding from check in to drink service around the pool. Clean and spacious. Highly recommend room on the ocean side.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 27very pleased!!!
This is the second time we have stayed here. It was an absolute pleasure both times. Everyone was so friendly, proffessional, & overall helpful. Facility is all it appears to be in the pictures. Beautiful. Very relaxing. For 15yrs we vacationed in Panama City but 2 yrs ago tried Daytona. Loved it. THe Shores is our new favorite. Would recommend to anyone. Graet for Families w/children..

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 27Losing Quality
We stayed a year ago and were thrilled with food, service, amenities. However, this trip showed a true decline in service, maintenence, and quality. Upon checkin, the safe was locked and took several hours to get maintence to service. The shower fixture fell off, the door handle fell off, the ottomon buttons were lying on top. Extremely nice HDTV capable flat screens without one high def channel!? We booked dinner for 15 people. Dining room was not busy and food/drink was so inconsistent..food came out before some received their cocktails. Fish was overcooked or under heat lamp for extended period of time. No discount offered and we had to pay the 20% gratuity on top of inferior food and poor service. Breakfast with a new waiter did not offer a better perspective of Azure. I ended up serving 4 at our table water, spenda, napkins etc. The outdoor pool area/tiki bar was wonderful. The young attendants were attentive and fun. A few things outdoors were in need of repair and seemed that they were not on a list to be completed any time soon. On another positive note...the spa was lovely. Massages were reasonably priced and well done.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 27Outstanding Hotel
We love this hotel. We love the comfort and the beautiful hotel itself. The staff treats us like we've known each other for a long time. We will always stay there when we're in Daytona.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 27Outstanding Hotel
My family and I only stayed at the Shores for 3 days. We wished that we would of stayed longer. This hotel exceeded our expectations by far. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You could not walk outside without someone opening or holding a door for you. Our room was always clean and the turn down bed service at night was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on vacationing in Daytona Beach. We will definitely stay there again next year.

This hotel was beautiful. Most comfortable bed our entire 9 day trip! We're planning to return next year.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 27Best place to stay in Daytona Beach
The Shores was a beautiful hotel, with nice amenities and a great location. It was quiet and relaxing and the staff was great. We went with our 17-year-old son and he loved the nice flat screen TV in our room, as well as the nice pool and hot tub. I'd highly recommend The Shores in Daytona Beach!

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 27Excellent Resort Hotel
Rather expensive, but very nice. Actually, it was worth it to get away from spring break teens who occupied hotels in Daytona Beach. This hotel is about a mile south of the crowded tourist area. Would stay there again.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 27Beautiful Beachfront Hotel
This is a renovated Hilton that has been on the beach since I was a child, and I'm 44. It's much nicer as the Shores. I have stayed here many times. It is on a less crowded part of the beach, which is really nice. The poolfront rooms are the best and I highly recommend them for easy access around the premises. The beds are the most comfortable that I've ever slept in, and the rooms are lovely. If you have a big event to coordinate, the staff is top-notch in helping to organize it too. TIPS: 1. You can park across the street for free and use the catwalk if you don't want to pay for daily valet. 2. If you are in a hurry to get onto the beach or anywhere else, skip the restaurant AND the room service. The food is tasty (and pricy), but the service is extremely slow. There is a private food vendor on the beach right below the hotel...definitely worth a visit! 3. For an extra charge after 1pm, you can have an extra late checkout up until 4pm! If you're enjoying the beach, it's well worth the extra bucks to stay the day. 4. Get to the pool early... beach towels and lounge chairs become scarce if you wait.
