Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 251Run Down
The shuttle service was good and the rooms were very clean. Unfortunately the hotel is located in a bad neighborhood and is not located in an area easily accessable to dining or shopping.

It took almost an hour to be picked up from the airport. The staff was overworked answer phones and also trying to deal with check-ins. No points of interest or resturants close to hotel but food was good at the hotel. Did schedule and take us to cuise port on time. Good place for a night lay over before or after a cruise and flight.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 251Good location
Great location, great shuttle service, and excellent staff. However, the building itself wasn't that great when built, and it still isn't. Rooms are dark, as curtains must remain closed. Neighborhood isn't the best.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 251Great for the money
This was a good choice for what we needed. The shuttle was timely and the rooms and surrounding areas were really great. My only suggestion or need was that there were a lot of us who came in after 9:00 and by the time we were registered, the restaurant/room service was closed. Most of us were hungry so we made do with the vending machines. If you are a late checkin, you might want to make sure you have had some food.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 251Overnight Stay Before Our Cruise
This hotel was exactly what we expected for the price range we selected. The room did have a little bit of a musty smell upon entering. (nothing that couldn't be overcome)It was very convenient for an overnight stay prior to leaving for a cruise out of Port Everglades. We took advantage of the pool area. The restaurant within the hotel was one of the highlights. We were given a dinner coupon for 50% off the second entree. Dinner was very tasty. We were also given a coupon for free buffet style breakfast, which also was very tasty and convenient.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 251Rooms need major renovation.
Main complaint was the bed. Mattress extremely uncomfortable. Bed pillows were like shredded foam rubber in a bag. Also, hotel was busy the night before, therefore rooms were ready late, and had to wait till almost 5:00 to get clean towels. Waited in the lobby till 4:00 (1 hour past check in time) and were not told when room was ready. Desk said it was the maid's fault for not reporting it ready. Location was convenient, but probably won't stay there again unless it has major renovation.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 7 of 251Needs a lot of improvement
We booked a reservation at the Ramada since it was close to the cruise port terminal. Figuring that a Ramada would be a good choice we were disappointed in the condition and service of the hotel. The hotel itself was old, the lobby area and restaurants had dishes and waste all around. I was really surprised at how badly it all looked. Had we been there for more than a night we would have checked out and went to another hotel. After this experience, I feel that saving a few extra dollars is not worth it and will gladly pay more to stay at a Hilton or Hyatt.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 8 of 251Great hotel fast to the air port
Great hotel fast check in beautiful pool 15 minutes to the airport near all food etc. But a very quick right off the highway but we passed it and made an easy uturn and were right there. Fast check in and great value for the money. We have used hotels.com for years and go all over and never had a problem.

Very close to airport, however, shuttle only runs on the hour which was not good for us thus $20 taxi ride. Food and room just fine.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 251Very convenient!
Transportation from FLL to the hotel took a great deal of time since we circled at least 3 times for some people who couldn't manage to find the correct stop. Shuttle to the cruise pier was perfect - we were scheduled to leave at 11:00 am and were on the way 5 minutes prior. The breakfast was okay but they ran out of many items. The hotel is old and dated but, for the money and conveniece, it was a great place to stay.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 13 of 251Just what we needed
The hotel provided us with a nice room for one night that was close to the airport. As a bonus, the Tiki Bar was great and we had a lot of fun.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 251lousy restaurant
This hotel is not the same business as the restaurant accessed only through the hotel and the pool bar. They do not accept room charges, the food is poor in both quality and cooking. Sign said to wait for seating, but the waitress just gestured with her head towards a booth (that was already in use). I waited and she finally said sit anywhere. Instead of giving me the lunch menu, she gave me the bar menu (I did not know the difference till I went out to the bar by the pool later.) by 2pm on Sunday they had already run out of bacon for their potato skins, club sandwich, etc. (She ran through a list of unavailable). I ordered a cold turkey san. which they said was real turkey, not pressed roast (but it was a pressed turkey breast) it came warm, even the lettuce was warm and the "butter" melted. The next morning I saw the "butter": a large white tub with white something in it that had a "butter" sign on a stick. (probably 90% margerine according to smell). Buffet was sticky buns, toast, p-nut butter, cereal. uggh. I tried to eat at the airport, but their "restaurant" was a donut store with scrammbled egg bagels. The shuttle bus is by appointment only, every hour, but the drivers were very nice. The sleep number bed was a pain, you have to lie on it and guess what number for each side separatly. Guess wrong and you are in pain. I was exhausted from moving from side to side.
