Ramada Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port

Awesome!

Beautiful pool-tiki lounge area. Electronic safe, microwave, and refridgerator in rooms was very nice, because there arent many restaurants in walking distance, besides the hotel's of course. Very nice hotel, would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Stuck In No Man's Land

This is a tired old hotel that is convenient only to the airport. Unless you have your own car, you're stuck. It's located right "on" the intersection of two major highways, SR84 and I-95, and there is nothing you can walk to. Consequently you are captive to their restaurant, and while the service was very good and the staff very polite, the food was mediocre at best. Even the vending machines had stale food. Although the price was right, next time I'll choose a hotel where I can at least walk to a convenience store or fast food outlet.

Up keep needs a face lift and better control in general

Please make sure that you give an uplift to the entire hotel. Much attention is needed in the cleaning section and pool hours.

Arrived late one friday evening.Unsavory characters in parking lot . Did not feel safe ,dispite claim by hotel of a security presence.

My phone didnt work. I was told that they could fix it the next day but I was only staying one night.

Smelly

The room had a terrible sewer odor. Otherwise it would have been a good value.

Great staff

This hotel exceeded my expectations for the price. The staff, especially the bar tender, was polite and prompt. The food wasn’t the best; however, it was much easier to eat at the hotel and it was reasonably priced. Great hotel for business traveler.

OK for 1 night

In general it was ok.The door lock was not working but I called the front desk and it was repair. The 2 lamps next to the chairs were not working.

ok for the price, but wouldnt stay again

first off, i got there and had to wait one hour past check in time because my room was not cleaned yet. when i finally did get to my room the room was fine and clean. the a/c was on high cool and did not keep the room cool, so it made for not a very good nights sleep. i had a couple drinks at the bar but the evening bartender was hardly ever behind the bar itself. on a good note the pool was well maintained and the free breakfast buffet was nice.

Why not tell the truth

I read a review before traveling to the Ramada Airport Ft. Lauderdale. The reviewer clearly had a bad attitude, including about the governement. The truth is the hotel was great, funky and yet clean, hugely courteous staff, FREE multi-course breakfast, clean swimming pool and more. Take your great attitude and go. Keep your bad attitude and don't go.
