it was a nice stay me and my husband enjoyed it but there was one thing wrong i asked for a room for smoking and i got a non smoking room which meant every time we wanted to smoke we had to go down stairs so it became a problem

Good Room for the Money

The hotel is showing its age. The room was fine, had everything we needed, including a decent size fridge. The air conditioning worked great. The decor & furniture was old. The hair dryer in the bathroom looked like something from the 80's, but overall we got a good rate for a Thur, Fri, Sat night stay. I would recommend for people looking for a clean/pretty well maintained place to stay, a good value.

Great room for the money

The A.C. Hilton was clean, spacious, and provided a comfortable bed. We ate at the Horizons (?) restaurant for breakfast where we had quick and efficient service and excellent food. The hotel is located at the end of the boardwalk which isolates it from the rest of the casinos, but I would not say that should be a deterrent. The only problem we encountered was the soundproofing of the walls and door. (We had a newborn baby in the room beside us and could hear it crying at 1:00 a.m.) Overall, very nice hotel. Highly recommended!

Flash Back to the 1980's

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hilton for a weekend getaway- we paid a VERY reasonable price for our stay and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice our room was. The hotel was definitely stuck in the 1980's with nothing but 80's music playing throughout the hotel the entire time we were there. Three out of every five light bulbs worked, and our hairdryer looked like it was at least 50 years old - the same age as our bed felt ... but overall the room was very clean, the hotel had a great little casino in it (where we did very good might I add) and we were happy with our stay.

Nice room for money, but

Wish that when we had checked in at 10:30 PM the room had been ready. Seems a bit late in the day not to have had it ready for us was a bit of an inconvenience.

Nothing to brag about

The hotel "looks" nice from the pictures, exterior and even when you first check in. Unfortunately, when we walked into the room it was very disappointing. The carpets were stained, the room smelled musty, and all of the decor was extremely outdated and dingy. In addition, our dinning experience at the hotel was horrible. The only restaurant with available seating was the Horizon, the others were closed for the season. There food and service was awful. The waiters were the worst I've seen in a long time. They managed to mess up every order for all of the surrounding tables. They were unorganized when seating patrons, we were seated after the table next to us but we got served at least 15 min. before them. It was extremely uncomfortable experience to sit next to three tables of people who all got there orders wrong. The waiters made no attempt to apologize for there service and the Manager who could have intervened was sitting in the table next to us having dinner with her friend who came to visit her at the restaurant. The entire experience was laughable. I definitely will not be returning to this hotel.

Horrible!!

Checked-in to our room for the weekend on Friday Sept 25th. The room smelled like urine. The bathtub was clogged. The same night we were locked out of our room. The keys stopped working. Room services did nothing about this initial complaint, only told us to call the next day. We booked a king-size bed room and received a double-bed instead. Called saturday after 4pm as instructed and were told the only room available was another double-bed room. Talked to a "Manager" Sunday and finally were given a corner suite for the last night. We were told thats all they could do. There were no options at all to try and provide us with a better stay. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!

Nice Hotel

The Hilton is a nice, clean hotel. It is about 5-6 blocks away from the main casinos.

hotel great; needs up dated; cater to the middle people not just the high rollers

stayed at alot of places in my life most of them had a complamentary breakfast if you stayed there. You would figure that a hilton and a casino would of had something for your stay. If they did we were never told
