Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 46Great Place to Stay for the Price
I went there for the NJ teachers' convention. The room was great, clean, furniture and bathrooms were updated, front desk service was quick and easy.

The room and all its amenties were excellent. However, the valet carts are only available for the valets. A guest who doesn't wish to use the service must self-carry. Since I was giving three presentations during my stay, I used my mini hand truck as a "valet cart". Also, the fire alarm went off twice during my stay, and no one took the initiative to inform me why it had done so.

I checked into the hotel at 6pm - 2 hours after check-in was available - and my room wasn't cleaned yet. I came back an hour later and it still wasn't finished..at 7pm!! I was told to wait another 20 minutes and it should be ready. I asked for another room and was denied. No ammenities were offered for my inconvenience. My rooms were pre-paid, but the hotel insisted on charging my credit card a $100 "deposit" until I checked out, which I was not told about up front. I also had to pay $5.00 for a parking voucher to use their parking lot!! I will not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 46Good stay
Worth the money. Location was a bit far downtown, but accessible to public transportation (Jitney Bus).

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 46Feels like luxury, kind of...
The hotel itself was nice, everything looks great, but some things weren't working when I got to my actual room. The toilet paper holder was almost off the wall. The internet is not free, like I thought, and I had to call customer service because the hotel couldn't get it turned on for me. The comforter had a crusty dry patch the size of my hand on it---unknown substance! The room was very large, and for the money, I was very pleased. It's right on the boardwalk, but at one end, so you need to walk to get to the boardwalk mall, etc. I didn't try the restaurants at the casino/hotel, but they smelled great! The front desk staff seemed a bit uneducated and seemed bothered to help me, but they weren't rude.

My room was immaculate, large with a nice sitting area. Very clean and high quality. Even the in room coffee maker made decent coffee!

This Hotel charges for everything from internet, parking, exercise (spa). Resturant food is not great and costly also.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 46Much more than I expected
Wow. Nice place. I have stayed in many other AC hotels and this was by far the best value for the money. 5 star room. Nice easy check in check out. The casino was dead the two days I was there. That was good and bad. Tons of open slots. A little limited in tyhe number of tables offered. For instance there was one craps table. The Hilton is not in the center of the Boardwalk but if you are looking for a little quieter, comfortable, well afforded option like I will, this was a good choice.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 46Great Hotel
This is my second time staying at this hotel. The check-in staff was slow to check in the people waiting on line both times but otherwise a great hotel. The location is at one end of the strip so you will need to walk, take a cab or the Jitney to get around.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 46Excellent Hotel
Accomodations: clean, comfortable and smoke free. Attendants helpful, respectful & service with a smile. Walking distance to other Hotels & restaurants. Enjoyed the comedy show during my stay. Parking voucher for self-parking was a bargain. View from the 17th floor was beautiful during the day & night. Disapppointment: indoor pool under renovation during my stay. Easily sense cigarette smoke in the main lobby & hallway leading to the boardwalk.
