Comfortable Hoyle

Great place. Second time to stay here. Only problem was water leak in wall and faucet in shower was faulty. Still would stayhere again if the price is right.

A neat place to stay

We were very pleased with the cottage like configuration of this hotel.

Great Neighborhood, Great Staff, Pet Friendly Neighborhood

We love staying here and have been customers for nearly ten years. Last time we stayed we were placed into an "updated modern" room in August, so we rebooked for a return stay and ended up in a very very dated, dirty room. It appeared this room had not been "spring cleaned" for quite some time, dirty dirty carpets! Torn bed coverlet, bad "odor" to the room...maybe the air filters needed cleaning along with the carpets being cleaned and deodorized, it smelled like old urine in the room...however, we stayed and "wore socks" when walking around the room. However, the staff was friendly...we didn't "complain" to management about the room, as I figured they already know the condition of their rooms, we stay here because of the location and "pet friendly" rooms and a great neighborhood to walk our Golden Retreiver.

Great place to stay... EXCEPT

Nice place to stay. Living quarters are clean and comfortable. Stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bath loft suite. Full kitchen including oven. Very comfortable for long stays. Would be nice for small family. One very large drawback for business travelers is that their internet speeds are incredibly slow! I have had dial up that has been faster. They do have direct lan connections available as well as wireless but either option is totally unacceptable! If they would correct the internet speed I would have considered this the perfect place to stay.

"Great Stay"

This makes the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful. Everytime I travel to Kansas for meetings I will stay at Chase Suite Hotel Overland Park. Also very nice for a family to get away for the summer.

Lacking in Customer Service

I was very put-out by the lack of customer service on one particular night of my stay. At midnight, the smoke detector started chirping, meaning the battery was low. I attempted to remove the battery on my own, but could not, so I contacted the front desk. They informed me they didn't have any replacement batteries but could get some in the morning. Well, that didn't help me that night! I finally got the battery removed, but the chirping didn't stop. The smoke detectors are hardwired into the building. I finally unhooked the wires, removing the smoke detector from the ceiling, rendering it useless. This concerns me mostly because there were two children staying with me. If there had been a fire, we would not have known! I brought this concern to another employee at the front desk the following day. They sent a maintenance person to fix the smoke detector. This, however, did not fix the night before. I am very disappointed with the lack of concern shown us.

Good Extended Hotel for Families

Nice layout. Plenty of room for families needing the room. A little dated, but clean. The breakfast was very basic. Could have offered more.

Outstanding! Had the best time! Felt very much at home!

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. 5 ladies here for a conference and we couldn't be happier to return to the hotel in the evening to relax. It was comfortable with a living room and kitchen for us to gather. AND two bathrooms so we had plenty of space to get ready in the morning! The staff was attentive, polite, friendly and accomodating. It was very clean. The mattresses and pillows on the bed were the most comfortable any of us had ever experienced in a hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.
