Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 92A Jewel in the Museum District of Houston
Let me start by saying that I have had the pleasure of travelling a lot, and staying in many nice places. This hotel is fantastic. Tasteful decorations, incredible photographic art, quiet room, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The on site restaurant is tops, with a creative menu and very knowledgeable wine steward. I will be back.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 92Great hotel but by no means worth the cost
Great location, beautifully appointed but not worth the outrageous rate. The Sheraton or the Marriot are just as beautiful and not nearly as expensive. Save your money and spring for one of those.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 92My new hotel in Houston
This is an incredible boutique hotel. I reserved a Fantastico suite. Unlike many hotels, the pictures online are exactly what you get. Loved everything from the hotel decor to the beautiful, spacious room and fabulous service. Will absolutely be back when in the area.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 92Outstanding hotel with a staff that cares and gives personal attention to the needs of its guests. Exceptional rooms for the money.
My daughter and I travel to Houston 1-2 times per month for her medical treatments at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Staying at Hotel Za Za transforms an otherwise difficult and dismal existence into one of respite and delight. The ambiance of the hotel, attention to detail and the personal commitment of all of the staff to their guests have earned our loyalty. Hotel Za Za is truly " a cut above the rest."

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 92Noisy.....
We had a room with a great view overlooking the neighboring park. Too bad it also overlooked the pool. Pool parties going on all the time made the room very noisy.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 11 of 92Valet only parking
My only complaint is the parking. No parking. Valet only. So, you have to wait in line which took as much as 10-15 minutes during peak hours. Valets were very nice, but still not convenient. So, if you want to run out someplace for 15 or 30 minutes, it is very inconvenient and irritating.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 92Loved ZaZa
This is a great example of how a hotel should be run. Fantastic service from the moment I pulled up to the front door. Stayed in a Fantastico Suite -- which was absolutely beautiful. The pool scene was hopping! Parking seemed pretty overpriced...and the advertised 'blackout curtains' didn't really do the job. Those are the only negatives I can come up with. I will certainly return!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 92Great location for museum vaction!
Have stayed at the Hotel ZaZa on several occasions. This time, I found my room smaller and perhaps, a bit musty...some remnants of refurbishing an old, old hotel. The neighborhood is great and very convenient for museum activities; even a 10 minute drive from the Galleria. However, valet parking is a pain...is expensive...and I dearly missed the convenience of going to my car whenever I chose to. In addition, the valet experience at this venue is a bit overwheming when hords of attendants decend upon you as you break! Felt rushed rather than pampered! Also would appreciate some lower prices on menu...hotel is not in the restaurant zone unless you are a walker.

A wonderful experience, superb service, unique decorating. This visit was our 4th visit. We love to stay there.
