Almost perfect hotel

My stay at Zaza was outstanding. My only complaint is a trivial one. I was traveling for work and there were not enough convenient electrical outlets in the room. With that said, I would definitely stay at this property again!

Poor location

It's a nice hotel, it's just not near anything. The hotel provides a car that can take you around, but you are not really even walking distance to anything, such as restaurant options, sport bars, etc. Nice rooms though.

Great Hotel, a lot of restaurants around and super friendly staff

A great place to stay. A lot of restaurants and bars around, the hotel have a cab service and the staff is realy good.

Comfortable and Swanky

Stayed at Hotel Zaza for 3 nights on business. Got a nice room for a good price. I was very pleased with the young, upscale atmosphere. The decore is art decco/asian inspired. I was also impressed with the customer service. I used their business center a couple of times while there. The staff consistently made sure there was paper in the printers... and followed through to ensure I had what I needed. I really enjoyed the complimentary coffee every morning on each floor, and refreshements in the lobby in the afternoon. I will definitely stay at Hotel ZaZa again!

Great Service

This hotel was full of people eager to help, I had some deliveries and they were brought to the room as soon as they arrived. I am completely satisfied with the stay.

WONDERFUL......

This hotel is the most increditable hotel I have ever stayed in... Went to Houston on business so it is very close to downtown.... metro tram run right next door so you don't have to deal with downtown parking... Food is faboulous! Staff is extreamly friendly and helpful... there is no reason to stay anywhere else in my opinion... I have stayed everywhere downtown and this is the only place I recommend!

Hip Place

Zaza was well managed and paid attention to details. The decor and design is very hip. I'd definitely recommend it.

Very high quality boutique hotel. Love the pool patio and the spa amenities...hopefully next time I can use them.

Bathroom lacked conveniences

The bathroom consisted of a very, very small pedestal sink with no room to set things down. Despite the adequate size of the space there was only one small towel bar by the sink, a hook on the back of the door and a very small glass shelf above the toilet which had the hotel's things on it. The towels were in the bedroom, under the bedside table. It was frustrating just trying to get ready for the day.

Oustanding uniquely fun hotel

From the moment we walked in, we loved this hotel. It was a little "funkier" than what we are used to, but that made our stay more fun. The room, although small, was decorated in a chic style and had very comfortable bedding. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We were in Houston, unfortunately, to see a doctor at the cancer center at M.D. Anderson. The hotel "shuttle" was very convenient. We never waited more than a few minutes for either of the luxurious vehicles to pick us up. The complimentary shuttle service prevented us from having to negotiate the confusing medical campus on our own. We did not bother to rent a car. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. We will stay there again if we need to return to Houston.

Unfair treatment

If one books on Hotels.com one gets a inferior room. I was placed next to the elevators and above a loud dance pavillion!
