The hotel was great. The only thing I found to be a problem where the other guest staying at the hotel at the time where rather noisy Walking the grounds all hours of the night and the room above us must of had been heavily footed us we heard every step they took,I was surprised they didn't keep us up all night.. all and all I would stay there again and i would recommend Homestead to friends

the people were all very nice, the hotel room was clean and smelt very nice-it was a smoking room, and you could not even tell. they had great recommendations for things to do in the area. I would definately stay there again.

If only there were more Homestead Suites along Miramar and Miami.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 13Bad Area And Rundown Room
Recently stayed here for one night to see a concert, and it was one night too many. The knob on the air conditioner was broken off, the kitchenette floor was so greasy and slippery that I literally almost fell twice and the shower tub was digusting. The top of the incredibly small TV was marked up with what I can only discern are burn marks from crack pipes. The bed was awful. Very saggy and the sheets on the bed had holes in them...As for the surrounding neighborhood, I've felt more comfortable in parts of East LA. No joke. It's too bad Hotels.com doesn't have a 360 degree interactive camera feature. If they did, I would've canceled my reservations for this dumpster the second I saw that you had to get "buzzed in" to the front desk in order to check in and out. That right there should be enough to deter anyone. I think Hotels.com should do everyone a favor, and take this rank and disgusting hotel off of their search list.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 13good rooms for the price during busy season
good basic clean accomodations at a lower price than most in the area next time i would request a room in the back building away from the street noise as i am a light sleeper and would have liked to have had complimentary shampoo and conditioner and better soap that stuff was like washing with a candle so next time i will bring my own free HBO was nice all appliances worked well and the free in room coffee perked me right up in the morning

The only thing I didnt like was I could not get late check out and the tub did not drain fast enough. Everything else was excellent. This was my first time staying in this hotel and I will recommend anyone to stay.

The room had a frig, microwave, sink, 2 burner electric stove(no pots and pans), dishes, a small coffee maker. It also had a counter and 2 stools, Internet connection, cable tv, Towels, an ironing board and iron Really great almond and oatmeal soap. You ahev to tidy up ur room urself, empty ur own garbage, and such. I'm a neat freak so that was fine with me. Could not ask for more. Only had 1 problem: The Area Manager took me out of the system a day before my intended check out. That posed a problem because my key stopped working. I was checking out before the hotel opened, so I guess she got confused(I dont know how) and thought I was checking out a day before. Well the reservations said the exact check out date. Another instance of people not doing their job, or paying attention to details. The person on duty had to put me bac in the system manually. Make sure you check and double check! Other than that, we loved the place. Great location, Bank next store, cvs on the corner. Publix supermarket across the street and a Duncan Donuts. 10 minutes to Wilton Manors or 15 to the beaches.

Outside was very nice but it gives a false impression. There were cobwebs in every corner of the hotel. I asked for a non smoking room but as soon as we walked in the smell of smoke over powered you. There was no shower curtain and the front desk said they would bring us one but never did. The toliet was broken and the floors were so dirty they left your feet black.
