Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 32not clean room this time
It didn't seem that bad when I got there. When I walked into the bathroom I could smell mildew, and found it in the bathtub later a bunch under the soap holder that had been overlooked apparently. One bug in the bath I couldn't identify but I washed him down the drain and continued my business. I turned back the sheets about 2am to find they hadn't been changed. A lazy cleaning person apparently tucked it back in. I found extra sheets in the closet since it was too late to call up and I had the last bottom floor room left. I used the other sheets so that I wouldn't touch the bed as I was about to sleep with my clothes on. Not staying here again.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 32Good overall, some specific concerns
I booked the room for two days, and was inexplicably locked out on the second day. As I had found this out upon returning to my room after the office had closed for the day, I had to call an after-hours agent using the phone outside the office. NO ONE ANSWERED AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS -- THAT IN ITSELF IS AN ISSUE! Luckily, a security guard had told me where the agent was at that time on hotel grounds (which, I had found later, he was NOT supposed to do...), and I was granted access. Moral -- MAKE SURE YOUR MULTI-DAY STAY IS ACTUALLY REGISTERED AS SUCH! On the first day, the TV remote was nowhere to be found -- had to get a new one from the office. Not a big deal at all, but a curious omission just the same. Overall, a nice stay, specific issues notwithstanding. Still, I'd definitely advise to double-check the details of your stay with the hotel, just to make sure you don't get locked out when you least expect it.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 32Needs improvement
The location of this hotel is great. You have easy access to the FL Turnpike as well and I-95. The area is not so great but it is safe. The overall upkeep of the place definitely can be improved. The carpet was dirty and stained. The utensil tray had a knife, a fork and a spoon - that's it. The tub needs to be replaced altogether.

Maintenace and staff improved compared with a couple of years ago. Fairly complete kitchen is an advantage. Contractors working on projects in the area tend to stay here.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 32Great Experience
This hotel had everything we needed for our two night stay during the business conference we were attending. We booked two rooms and each were clean and well taken care of. The bedding and furnishings seemed to be new. The staff was friendly. We'd stay here again and would recommend it to friends. Oh, and I should say I'm really picky and easily grossed out by things. :)

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 32Lack of good management
Arrived at the Motel mid afternoon, the office was locked and had to wait several minutes for the desk clerk to open the door. Assigned a room, and when I entered the room things did not look right. There was garbage in the trash can under the sink, a dirty cup on the counter, toilet paper in the toilet, the TV did not work well, the windows were filthy. The overall condition of the room less then livable. I called the front desk and told them of my concerns, they told me they would call back. 10 minutes later they called and said that I should come back to the front desk, and they would find me another room. Again, the door to the office was locked, which tells me that the area obviously is not safe. After dragging my luggage all over the property, I was assigned another room. It was better, but not much. The carpets and tile were extremely filthy, the soles of my feet were black within minutes of walking on the floor. The windows were disgusting. On my second night the unit above me was rented to five (5) young men, who obviously did not sleep the entire night, played loud music, and thumped around all night. I managed to get 2 hours sleep. I could not call the front desk and complain, because it closes at ten PM. I stay in hotels on an average of once a week, I seldom complain, but this was just a bad situation.
