Great Service, Perfect Location, Huge Guest Room

A friend and I just spent the weekend in Washington DC and stayed, for the first time, at a Kimpton property. The Hotel Madera was all that we hoped for plus some. Both Michelle at the front desk, who found us the perfect room in the hotel, and Phillip, who valet parked my car, provided exceptional service. Phillip even went and got my car for me one time just so I could retrieve my sunglasses. And altho the bathroom was a littler smaller than expected, the guest room was much larger than expected. The morning coffee, evening wine sip and late-night cookies and milk in the lobby were all very nice touches. I even enjoyed meeting some adorable pooches who were welcome guests along with their Moms and Dads. Great experience - I'll be back!

Close to Metro/Good Restaurants

Greatly enjoyed stay at Hote Madera. Several good restaurants relatively nearby. Close to Metro at DuPont Circle.

Fantastic!

The Hotel Madera far exceeded my expectations. It was close to the Metro and an easy walk to great restaurants as well as tourist sites. The room was huge and clean although the bathroom was very tiny in proportion. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice Hotel, Convenient Location

The hotel has very large and spacious rooms. The beds are very comfortable. Walking distance to the Metro, Dupont Circle, restaurants, and shopping.

Outstanding Hotel, Great Value, Great Staff

My group had a blast. Our room was very large and very nice. The staff was great. We enjoyed the free wine hour at 5 and also the many in-room entertainment options. Great room for not a low price!
