Comfortable and Fun

I love that every room is a suite. That makes for a very comfortable business trip. Did not like the fact that we had to pay extra for Wi-Fi in the room. Also, my bathroom had not been swept very well, if at all. Otherwise, it was a very nice stay.

Casino Experience

If you are into casinos and the casino crowd, you will probabaly like this. Otherwise, probabaly not. Nice staff, but tacky decor and a lot of all-night activity. Strangely, not loud.

Rooms was noisy

Great room bad location for this room just beside the bridge who is very noisy.

Great location, Great price

I attended a conference at the HotelLumiere and the price of the room was quite reasonable. The rooms were spacious with large flat screen TVs and luscious beds. The hotel is nearby to the Arch, several casinos, and nice restaurants. My only negative is trying to find a quick bite to eat late after work or a conference.

Great Room

The suites are very spacious and appointed nicely. Everything in the hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Fun and chic

Upon my arrival at the hotel, I had to wait for an hour for a non-smoking room (which I reserved) to open up. The staff was VERY helpful in reccommending a local bar to wait in, although the hotel has a very nice bar in the atrium near the indoor waterfall. The room was well worth the wait, and I especially enjoyed having a separate lounge room in my hotel suite. The ipod dock was a nice addition to the room as well. The hotel connects to the casino on the 4th floor, and surprisingly the hotel didn't receive a lot of traffic from non-guests. Overall, great experience, would definitely recommend and will stay in again upon my return to St. Louis.

Great hotel and service

HoteLumiere was a great experience and value, and the staff was extremely helpful. When I checked in, I had food poisoning and spent a good deal of my first two days there in bed, however the staff was very accomodating. The room service chef even made a special meal for me once I was able to eat again. The only thing I would change is that the internet was not included in the stay price. Also, remember to ask about Casino Bucks, as they will give you a $10 voucher for the casino when you check in.
