Expensive for what it is

The stratosphere was an okay hotel. It's outside of walking distance to the main attractions but since you can park at any hotel for free it's not that big of an issue. My issue with the hotel was terrible elevators, water drainage issues in the sink/bathtub, and it was too pricey for its location and quality.

Great hotel great price

This hotel has a good location, good price, great deal on the attraction and shows hosted at the hotel for guests, good price on a good all you can eat, good coupon book make sure you flip though it and use it..

great room for the money.

I really liked this hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location wasnt the best, it was kind of far from the strip..but we walked it all anyways, and took the bus. But the surrounding area towards Downtown was real shady.. But overall, good hotel. I had a great vacation!

Wonderful Place

I really liked staying at the Stratosphere. It wasn't too noisy and crowded. It was at the North End of the strip but it was great cause we walked down the strip and took the bus back so we didn't miss anything. The hotel offered a 50's like diner which was totally awesome because the waiter/waitresses sang. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is just wanting to get away and relax.

good value, close to monorail, entertainment and food at hotel is above average for the price.

Good for the money

Ok hotel. Booked two rooms, asked for adjoining rooms or rooms on the same floor. That didnt happen, couldnt even get two rooms in the same tower!! Very seedy neighborhood (slums, abandoned houses) around the property. Long walk down to the main part of the strip, ok during the day, scary at night. No airport shuttle, expensive cab ride to airport. Hotel staff un helpfull. Resturants are very overpriced!!

cab to the good part of the strip is at least $15. dont walk its to far!

Need Improvement

We arrived there were used tiles and soap in room, it took housekeeping 4 hours to rectify this situation. While we slept we kept smelling a sewer odor, when awoke there was black sewer water coming up through the sink and the toliet wouldn't flush. We requested another room the room was a premier room and it superb but the water smell of sewer.
