So, So.

This was my second time staying at the Stratosphere. The restaurants were good; my room didn’t have a luggage rack; I had to ask for additional pillows for my bed. The fitness center smelled so bad I only stayed in there for 20 minutes. Something is deffently wrong whit the air in there. The parking lot and security was good, and it should be due to the bad area in which the hotel is located. Stay there if you like, but just like everything in Vegas, its gamble.

Bad Location

I was led to believe that the Stratosphere was on the Strip. Well it isnt exactly there. It is on Las Vegas Blvd but about a ten minute drive from all the action. And it is on the far end of the strip and not in the prettiest neighborhood. Price is cheap but you get what you pay for.

EXCELLENT ROOM FOR THE PRICE I PAID

I just came back from my trip to vegas and the hotel was WONDERFUL..i have only stayed at 5 stars and a few 4 star hotel so to stay at a 3 star hotel i was a bit scared. but hte room was excellent. modern looking. the hotel staff upgraded me to a bigger room. and i was on the top floor of the hotel with a beautiful view. i def would stay there again! the only concern is that if you are flying out to vegas its REALLY far from other hotels. so stay there if you got a car

Prepare for Wi-FI costs

The hotel is becoming a bit run down. I was very disappointed by the scrimping, such as only one towel per person, only one bar of soap for both the sink and the bath. However, the room rate was relatively low. Wi-Fi access is $12.95 a day. The "business center" charges by the minute with a $5 minimum, and $1 per page printing. The room was fine for the most part, just not great attention to detail or customer service. The $50 credit in the spa was not really a credit until you had already spent $100 on another service, and it didn't apply to package services. There was a lot of pressure to "up charge" to additional services and I felt resentful instead of rested after my facial and pedicure.

GREAT ROOM FOR THE MONEY

I LOVED THE SWIMMING POOL AND BAR, BUT THE POOL HOURS SHOULD BE LONGER THAN 8:00 PM.

Good Room for the money, but far away from the rest of the strip.

Great Location

Great walking distance to fast food or liquor stores for a quick bite to eat.If going to the strip it's better to drive & park at a hotel that has free parking.Has great restaurants & bar downstairs!

we weere dissapointed.

Our hotel was not clean and I came all the way from upstate new york, I wanted to use the pool and it was closed. The bar at the pool was also closed. They suggested that I go down to the casino in my baithing suit once the pool was finally open to get myself a drink because my husband and I wanted to have a glass of wine at the pool. they said go down to get a drink. We have 5 kids and were on a vacation and I wanted to be pampered. It did not happen at all. I was reallllly disappointed. I called and spoke with the hotel manager and she did not do anything. That was even more disappointing. This hotel has much ability to be one of the best hotels in Vegas but they do not try to take care of their guests like they should. the views are fab.. Next time I think I will go somewhere else where I feel more important. Dollar Black Jack at the Sahara was great though, All casino's should have this. When you want to swim... you want to swim windy day or not.And they should at least say come back again one night free or something when it is better weather. when you are going back to snow in NY or whenever they can not provide the accomidations that the fliers and internet say they accomidate to their guests- they should at least make up for their inconvenience.

great price

Great location if you have a car or plan to use taxis. Much cleaner than I had expected, and rooms seemed to be updated.

A must visit in Vegas

The stratosphere is a must visit place. The rides at the top of the hotel are def. worth talking with your friends about when you get home. The hotel staff downstairs are nice and polite. The staff upstairs didnt speak any english and were troubling with requests. However, that was overlooked with the beautiful dining resturaunt at the hotel. The hotel though has been upgraded but is obviously outdated. I would recommend and stay again however.
