Clean, Comfortable

This hotel was clean, comfortable and conveniently located in the Country Club Plaza area. I got a room for one night for my bf, whom was getting married the following day, and the accomodations were perfect. I stayed in the hotel the next night with friends, and their room was clean and comfortable as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend or family member wanting to stay in the KC area.

Great room & fantastic location

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel is about two blocks from the Plaza which provides many options for shopping and meals. Our King Suite was very nice - comfy bed, separate living area and nice bathroom. We also appreciated the fridge in our room. Definitely recommended!

Clean the rooms better

Our bathroom was filthy. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month. There was funk around the drain in the shower, mold on the shower curtain. Very very dirty.... No better than a cheap hotel.

Great room with a nice view overlooking the plaza.

We really enjoyed our Stay. Our only glitch was our room keys deactivated when we were at the pool. I suspect it had to do with them letting us check in early (Before 3:00PM) They did not have to do that but It was appriciated. The Woman at the front desk told us our cell phone must of been too close to it scrambled the magnetic strip on the key, and was not friendly about it. She reactivated our key. The one left in the room was deactivated also and had been no where near a cell phone. All the other people we encountered at the front desk were great, cheerfull and Midwestern friendly. It was a great stay. Loved the room. I do think charging $10.00 extra to park is disapointing. If I was driving a rental I would have parked across the street but I was in my own vehicle.

Small suites, sweet price

Kansas City's Country Club plaza was a fun place to be, and this hotel is central and affordable. The staff took great care of us, and the Hotels.com price was not to be beaten. These are suites, but they are small suites - really a small room for the bed, with the bathroom on one side and french doors on the other. Regardless, it was very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. I would definitely stay here again if my travels take me back to Kansas City.

Needs Improvement

the front desk was not very friendly which was dissappointing! the room service was very over priced and not even that good! other than that, the location was great and was a good value overall! i work in the service industry and know what customer service is and i was not happy upon my arrival to the hotel!

Great Hotel

This is the second time within the last couple months I've stayed at this hotel. Both times were to attend KC Royals games. Although there are hotels closer to the stadium, I will stay in this hotel whenever I plan on staying in Kansas City. Both times, Ive had the suite and the comfort and price for the room was amazing. The only thing that I was displeased with was the first time I stayed, there was no charge for parking, the second time it was $15/day for valet and $10/day for self parking. The room, comfort, price, and access to the Plaza made up for that though.
